  1. English brethren? I think myself and JohnL may wonder who you are talking to on this thread?
  2. My unresearched theory is that they were being filmed for a movie.
  3. I expect The game in NZ will be far more entertaining than the one in SA. I saw some of the Aus v Fra series and there was some very entertaining stuff played there.
  4. Well I found the 'joke' amusing. However, I get the impression from other posts that I really should disapprove of it, but I'm not sure why. If that's the case would someone please explain or is it simply because my comedy bar is set too low?
  5. Two key players missing for the Boks is a big plus. I reckon the stoppages was a SA ploy to slow it down.
  6. Any thoughts on the 3rd Test? The 2nd half of the 2nd one was a bit of a shock.
  7. I'm in too and straight to the top of the table! Now just have to stay there.....

  9. Thanks alex_b. I think I'll just pay the fine if that's the case.

    Borexit

Perhaps a real indicator as to how long the PM will last is if a poll was done to find out how many people refer to him as Boris or Johnson. I'd say the overwhelming majority refer to him as 'Boris' currently but I'm hopeful that will change. The sooner the better please. I hate people calling him Boris. It isn't even his name ffs. He's not your friend and he really doesn't care about you.

Nice to see the council working a bit > for their revenue. I had my appeal rejected though I'm thinking of disputing it. The email stating this was actually from a company called Apcoa Parking, though the use a Southward Parking email address. So I think it's fair to assume the Council is not dealing with these but have outsourced it. The Apcoa Group is made up of very wealthy companies (not surprisingly). The Ultimate Holding Company isn't even in the UK. This sign was used in their email stating that it's on College Road, which is the direction we approached Dulwich Village from. Has anyone any idea how long the sign has been there since I've no recollection of seeing it in early June?

    No, sir

Is 'lads' just an Irish thing?

By 'pointless' I take it you mean when you are not around other people? There are masks that also give the wearer a good deal of protection, but like you say, people do seem to think by wearing whatever they are wearing, that they are predominately protecting themselves.
  14. Wonder why that facility to block seeing posts by whoever, was got rid of?
  15. Definitely A

Yeah, he doesn't take any sh*t. Though his last post to date was in response to someone saying they were going to report him to the police for threatening said tory activist.

  20. Thanks. I'll go with the short answer.
  21. Thanks for organising RD. I'm surprised I was the only one to go for a drawn Final.
  22. Last question please. Is it possible to print pages from a book on a Kindle?
  23. keano77 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Interesting article from an EU point of view More like a factual point of view. The UK Govt. wants to wriggle out of what it agreed to when they 'got Brexit done'. Possibly their plan all along. It's a shameful place to be in for a once well respected country. Now it's just run by charlatans, the worst of all being the PM.
  24. I predicted Italy to win too, but alas it counts as a draw in our game.
