    Presumably by inviting Parents to their fee paying school, they thought they HAD told the local community. Non-fee paying Parents being of the lower orders and so not worth concidering. What's wrong with a Saturday night? Most people would be OK with that, but a Sunday night? There is an uncomfortable arrogance in the view that its only a one off and its the SCHOOl that did it - so all must be well.

    I remember when Walkers were very much a Midlands brand and did not appear elsewhere in the country. The rest of the you had Smiths and KP and suffered as a result. At college in Brighton I frequented one particular pub because they were the only place in the town that stocked Walkers. I have never been able to understand the European obsession with Paprika Crisps.

    "Neanderthal Man" was a personal favourite in my spotty youth - I practically bathed in the stuff. It was also good for the spots (although it did sting) and kept mosquitos away.
