  1. I LOVE Johnies caf?. lovely bubble.
  2. Didn't think of it at the time! Home now.
  3. I went to Dulwich Gallery today and parked in the off-road recessed parking opposite the gallery, to the right of the park gates. I couldn't believe there was a space. No sign of anything but wiggley lines. Of course i got a ticket- but for parking on the zebra zig zags. But i was behind them off road...cars next to me ticketed too. Dastardly and confusing. I'd never park on a zebra but apparently i did.
  4. Rah rah no doubt it did,but a patrol car on Its way to somewhere else actually took the time out of keeping us safe to find out if it was.
  5. Oh i see, woman of Dulwich's point. Ah no cause and effect re mugging. it was me making a point about how perhaps its easier to randomly stop school children in case they have dope on them than actually go and catch muggers and burglars. I mean a patrol car on its way somewhere to else decides to randomly ask a boy who has just left his house, what he is up to.
  6. He tells me they get stopped and asked questions par for the course. Teen boys.
  7. Lounged, but a local issue.
  8. This morning, just after leaving house for sixth form, and yes smoking a crafty fag, my 17 year old son was stopped by a passing speeding cop car which screeched to a halt, two policemen got out and asked him if he was smoking cannabis. he wasn't. But he has been a victim of knifepoint mugging twice in the last two years, the perps never caught. Priorities? What do the police want our young people to think of them? And do they really have time for this?
  9. There is def free parking on the other side of south circular from station in residential streets.
  10. let's face it, you are either honest or you're not.
  11. there were community police officers in Nunhead Cemetery this morning doing dog monitoring.

    So....

and 'Here's a thing' is bloody annoying too. (or is it 'the thing'?)
  13. a vote from me too.
  14. Once the cycle highways are up and running presumably it will remove bikes from the car using bit of the roadand ahead at the lights.
  15. Ive just 'nipped' down to kings road- used to be tWenty minute drive and afternoon free parking. Chaos at half moon/Herne Hill junction with cars from Herne Hill coming through on a green light immedately stopped on a red at the bridge, and blocking Half Moon Lane traffic when they have a green so no one got through for two light changes. Then coming down to junction of Brixton amd Acre lane again, traffic from right blocking all traffic on brixton hill so couldn't move heading north on your green light unless you risked the yellow box. Then at Battersea Park/chelsea Bridge roundabout- which used to,function very smoothly with no traffic lights, new traffic lights made light traffic queue for no reason and caused congestion. Why?
  16. ah it is definitely that one on the map Kford. Phew! I hope.
  17. yes Kford it was facing me- I hadn't passed it and I think only flashed once. I was still in second gear!
  18. I've just been camera flashed driving alongside Nunhead Cemetery driving I think at 25 mph. I had no idea it was a 20mph zone. I came from East Dulwich Road and turned right up a very small road to then meet Linden Grove, so if there was a sign I didn't see it. It may have been flashing a car coming the other way, but if it was me, is that a points off my licence scenario?
  19. I live near troy town and would happily join you!
  20. It's from old kent road via my burgess park short cut that ivebeen approaching it. Awful,
  21. We printed AS level photographs at the Bellenden Road printers who are lovely.
  22. I hope not, it's congestion is much much worse than before!
  23. Can anyone explain to me what it going on roadworks-wise around Elephant? The traffic is currently madness approaching from the bridges. I always thought the give-way system worked really well but now traffic lights in Waterloo Bridge Road is banking up traffic as lanes are let through on a green and then immediately stopped on different red just yards ahead, blocking the other lane once it is on a green, so that only about two cars per traffic light change are getting through. Sorry, not explaining very well but you will probably have experienced it yourselves. Is this part of works or the finished product?
  24. Lidl fresh croissants are fantastic, at 29pence a pop, if you want some to eat at home.
