  1. The problem in nutbrook street is bad parking. It is so frustrating to see cars take up one and a half spaces. I?ve seen people do it, Park selfishly and then go off. Two new schools haven?t helped, nor campervans parked up forever. But having endured CPZ in all my former homes where I paid but could never park anywhere near where I ived, I?d rather take my chances with no cpz.
  2. I live in Bellenden area and just received counCils third consultation attempt, to get us to say yay.
  3. noticed this morning against the inside fence, the Peckham side, a white bike minus saddle
  4. We don?t have a local police station to hand anything into anymore
  5. I had this problem with a local school. Their playground security light penetrated into our bedroom like the light of a bright sunny day. It was torture. I rang them up. They didn't know, they adjusted it and they even wrote me a nice apologetic letter.
  6. I saw Marks and Spencers manager give chase to shoplifter across to Northcross Road for quite a distance and retrieve some of the stuff before the person got away.
  7. so sorry you were broken into and the police do not have time to investigate. Yet in Bellenden Road on Monday, three police cars and a police van swooped down on someone nicking a bike from a lamp post.

I have a Clearview stove, the most eco efficient on the market, producing the smallest amount of smoke no ash. Expensive but worth it.

  14. And the new Poodle Comedy Club just beyond the Golden Lion
  15. We' e been in the street twenty years, but near neighbours been here 50 so will ask when I see them. Any idea which number or which end?
  16. Our road often has no free parking spaces, but loads of big almost-gaps. It drives me mad. People should park up reasonably but not oppressively close to the next car along, or if a massive gap at the time, use their imagination as to placing themselves in the least obstructive position to allow the maximum number of cars to park later.
  17. I remember looking round it in 1998 when we were looking at properties. It was very strange!
  18. Yes but in the boxer dtaffie scenario, it sounds like the boxer who leaves the park to,follow the scent is the one not in control.
  19. My garage-south London clutch- told me about this. They believed the traffic flow would be made two way for the duration. It's a months planned work. Ridiculous there aren't proper diversions in place for this.
  20. if you chop it all up and post again, lots of people will come and take it away for logs
  21. I've got loads of wild garlic, it's suffocated everything else in the garden. PM me if you want a small clump
  22. No thanks but I,wouldn't mind a law making it illegal to park in a stupid way taking up more than one space,
