  5. There was a poster in one of the shops on Northcross Road, and it was in all the Dulwich Festival literature. It was good, especiall hte green tent. Kinda low-key, with the stalls dotted around. Nero
  6. I am a bit of a plane geek-light. When in HK I would go to the roof of the car park at the old airport and watch the planes come in. I've flown in there a few times. It was great! Nero
  7. At the Dulwich Green Fair I told the Lib Dems, who had a stall, that their campaign for a placcy-bag free LL should work with the EDF bag ladies (!). He was unaware of the SE22 bags, and since duplication is such a waste, he said he would get in contact with Monica. Nero
  8. Not really related, but if you have hairy fingers, gentlemen, try pulling them, especially those nearest the fingernail. V painful. Have a go! Nero
  9. ADB - I said 'apparently' as that is what I have read somewhere. It might be a load of rubbice. Nero
  10. Ha. V good re the Living South shtick. Their reviews are hilariously bad. As if they are going to say 'not only was the food cold, uninspired and foul-tasting, but the service was slow and the prices were sky high'. Nero
  11. Batdog, Are there plans to reintroduce the wolf to the UK? Could we have some skulking around Peckham Rye Park? Nero
  12. Apparently they are a legal requirement, but it seems odd to me. I won't go there on Fridays and Saturdays or when there are bouncers as it makes me feel uncomfortable and I can do without that when I want to relax. Female bouncers might be the way forward if they are completely necessary. Nero

  15. I want to know what kind of NATIVE plants to plant in pots in the shade. I have a horror of busy lizzies, pansies, and the like and want to attract wildlife too. Anyone have any ideas? There really is no sunlight, but it is not really dark either. Nero
  16. Keef tells us he has keyhole eyeballs. What do other EDF-ites have that are peculiar to them? I'll start the ball rolling - I have eyelashes that grow out of the corners of my eyes (nose side). Sometims one pupil is bigger than the other - Adies syndrome, I believe. Not always, just sometimes. Nero
  17. Thought that would get your attention. Well, the redevelopment at the top of LL near to the Chinese restaurant and the dry cleaner's shop IS NOT GOING TO BE TESCO. Some had thought that to be the case. I rang up the lady in charge of development of the area at Tesco HQ and she says it will not be one of their shops. Nero
