  10. And the cricket: I've done Andersen to be top english bowler (series just over 3/1) and considering a result in 1st 3 days in Wales at 14s (but gonna check the weather!)

    a joke

    Damn, just missed "1000"
  12. Debating room won't be policeable IMO and sometimes the irreverant posts on a worthy thread work fine too although occasionally kill it. And if it does get policed properly irreverant posts - some of which are very funny - will tend to go so we'll be left with valuable information and worthy debates only with less spontanity (good and crap), a pity I think but many probably wont........I don't think the EDF is broke NO TINKERING
  13. yup Brendan - I don't rate Strauss as a captain, too defensive and we need more than that against these Aussies
  14. Come on - it's the summer, paper plates will do
  15. apostrophe police in your image CC
  16. ..I bet you don't even know what cakes they're eating MM
  17. No doubt the wrong'un in THAT seat
  18. The 50% tax thing was obvious...I was amazed it wasn't bought up more as an example at the time (the situation compunded by depreciating sterling too). Flash Gordon's envy tax driving out talent at all levels including overpaid footballers but an example of where it can affect one of the things that we currently lead the world in...
  19. I'll help you both with my fluent Spanish... "Both leagues are going to be very good but I think that with Real president Florentino Perez's signings the Spanish league is superior to the English," Ronaldo stated. "It's going to be a magnificent competition in Spain this year."
  20. Because it's dangerous. Wrongly ,agreed, and car drivers fault but nevertheless dangerous, and personally I'm not gonna use my 5 year old kids as a point of principle as I think that's irresponsible. As it happens, I'd like to be able to leave my front door unlocked and in many countries you still can...not gonna do it in SE22. Shouting at the woman like the OP did is also wrong.
  21. Ronaldo didn't quite say that, he said both leagues were very strong but the Spanish one now had the best players in the world going there and referees protected them better - he's hardly going to say he's leaving for a worse league, to a degree he's right and papers (and sadly the BBC) don't half to stir up a load of old shite about bugger all.
  22. Lee's a big miss for the Aussies but I still think they've too much batting for England, I'm going 2-1 Australia after the best of starts for Englkand in Wales
  23. yup - I will be partcipating!
  24. 38%
  25. lol
