  1. If there is one train less an hour and they run on time, it will be better than the current service! But that's not really the point...
  2. I was never enamoured with the building, but it's at least better than some of the other post-war stuff around. The co-op building, and the red-brick building over the road (William Hill, etc)... eurghh.
  3. Southern set to axe 350 trains a day with new timetable... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-36701300

Don't watch it that much, but if more games were like that (and the fans weren't dickheads), I'd probably be hooked. I don't mind that they were celebrating when England lost. If they used the England rivalry to spur them on, then fine. I wonder if the England players were watching the other matches together?
  6. Even mentioning it as a possibility is pretty disgusting.

Not the first time you've mentioned this. Why do you have a problem with women having kids in their 30s? Is it not a good idea to want financial security, stable career, etc, before having kids?
  10. We need something to be proud of first. I'm struggling with that recently.
  11. Pretty much what MM said. Except that I wouldn't even bother during the football, as England are shite!!
  12. Indeed. A Penthouse. Set in a high class development, no less.
  13. It's not open yet...

  15. Good tune. "In the Studio" is of the few albums I still own on vinyl... rather a weird record, but a very clever one too..
  16. 750K to live above a supermarket... hmm..

    Why?

Sorry yes... I'm saying it would be creepy if they did.

    Why?

Name of road she lives on - creepy "lives in Herne Hill" - not such a big deal
  23. I've been thinking... if there is a snap general election, and Corbyn is still Labour leader, and Labour run on a ticket of not invoking article 50 (or at least holding a second referendum). Could Labour win?

  25. I had to learn a long time ago to put political differences aside when it comes to my parents. Just as most of us think their generation voted 'leave' because of xenophobia and misplaced patriotism, they seem to think that younger people only voted 'remain' because they like their holidays to Spain and cheap Polish cleaners. They're not bad people, but rather out of touch with the modern world (particularly London), and have no real understanding of how important the single market and freedom of movement is. It's easier to just pour more wine and talk about the weather.
