  1. That Nutfield Rd. house looks really small. Perhaps the ones on the shops side are smaller. Usually they had kitchen before bathroom, so you could knock it through to make a big kitchen, and then put bathroom upstairs. Then you would have two rooms at the front, usually divided by a wall. Can also put extension on top, and possibly at the back and then add extra bedroom on top of extension.

You can file Out of Times for each one via Traffic Enforcement Centre where you state that you never received the original notices. Look on the Consumer Action Group website for lots of helpful information.
  3. If anyone has tomatoes to sell or get rid of, especially green ones, and also courgettes/squash, esp. yellow ones, please let me know. Thanks.
  4. Been to Bajan Spices twice and don't rate it. Had a fritter there and it was flat and tasteless. Have also tried a roti and the spicing was blah. I think Trini food is better. There is a great Trini place in Deptford Marked called Chaconia which is open from about noon until about 10 at night. Lovely gorgeous food.
  5. There is a TKMaxx at New Cross now, in Sainsburys car park. Look at Gap online sales, they often have good deals on tops, and t-shirts which are basics and classic, like stripey ones. You can sign up for email alerts and they often offer free delivery. Otherwise it is only ?4. I bought a lot of stuff online from Uniqlo last year for winter. They also do delivery. There is one in Bromley as well. Have a look at the Lucza website. They have really nice fabrics and often have good deals in their sales. Isabella Oliver have clothes other than maternity wear. They are changing their name to Baukjen.
  6. Forgot to say - what do you use in her bath? If bubble bath then you should stop doing that as it can cause problems like thrush in females.
  7. No advice about preparing for blood tests, but can you get her to pee in the bath when it has water in it? Was told to do this myself when I had bladder infections. More comfortable that way. Can you give her live bio yogurt? That should help with her flora and fauna. I didn't have bladder infections until I was 16 but know how painful they can be. Good luck.
  8. Never worked as a cafe because the small space Rose had was clogged with mums and babies not eating. That is why she closed the food part. It is a lovely shop, but she doesn't live in London anymore so having it must be a hassle. Fi, who went on to work at the original Jack's, used to be a chef/cook there. The food was sublime.

So you can put all clippings, and branches, leaves etc. in your compost?
  10. Surely the foxes can get inside the small bins if left outside?
  11. Are you not supposed to put the food recycling green bags in with the garden waste? I have put mine in there and if there is no garden waste then the bin men lean in and take the bags out. I have the smaller bin inside my house.
  12. Obfuscating? has the luck of the Irish run out?
  13. Thanks for your response Fox. I am going to try the ones on the link you sent. And I do feel like using a crowbar, but have so far refrained. Should get an external DVD player I suppose.
  14. Did you ask for feedback on your property? I have bought and sold 9 properties so far, different types, inc. first floor flat with balcony/ maisonette with own front door and nice garden/ house with patio and no garden/victorian house in good area/victorian flat with communal entrance, share of freehold, and garden, so have had quite a bit of experience. I agree with benmorg. This time of year is quiet.
  15. What road? Neighbour had side entrance gate scaled and mountain bike stolen yesterday.
  16. It's stuck. Have tried everything to eject it, even looking up different ways on the internet.
  17. Apparently this is a common problem. No sliding drawer. It's driving me crazy.

Will you be responding to the critical posts about your surgery on another thread?
  19. People continuously selling nickable electronic items ie phones, will be removed. That is what the classifed rules section says. It doesn't say you have to know they are stolen. Removed sounds like it means the poster will be removed. Can someone clarify.
  20. Another barber shop? The one in Melbourne Grove only charges ?10 for a man. Lots of recommendations on the forum have been made.
  21. Still confusing. So what El Pibe says is wrong, and what Moos says is wrong. I have reported spam, and fake recommendations.
  22. If someone sells fake goods are they 'allowed' to carry on posting? Surely Trading Standards should be informed.
  23. Tres confusing.
  24. Can someone clarify? Is it only for 'emergencies' like racism, slander etc.
  25. PM'd you.
