Can usually tell if the only posts someone has made are relating to the tradesperson, esp. numerous times on different threads. Also if posters have just registered and then posted re tradesperson.

I agree with Atticus, sp. if mental is pronounced with a dropped T. The sayings "ooh you're mental" and "I'm mental me" also spring to mind. In the olden days (fifty/sixty years ago?) I think mental was not considered disrespectful. -
They used to do the home delivery service from ED I think, never used it but someone told me that she did. But yes, you have to go into the store and purchase first.

Am looking for a company that isn't Royal Mail to deliver a parcel to someone outside London. Can anyone recommend one? Have you found any that are less expensive than Royal Mail?

There aren't any hygiene rules to break relating to dogs in restaurants. It's entirely down to the restaurant owner.

How do you know it was a pitbull? They are a banned breed here. Perhaps it was a staffy?

Sometimes, if you are a 'foreigner', the landlords might want 6 months to a year's rent up front. That way if you skip town or country they don't have to chase you.

Saw some Staykill in chemist on Northcross Road. They have a pet section with drops on the back of the neck stuff. Used to use it when I had cats. Sprayed flat just before I went out, put cats out, and left it for a few hours. Cats seem to be the worst for fleas. When I had cats they were rampant. Now, no cats and no fleas!
