  1. I think this is what a lot of people wanted no hidden agenda nothing sinister just a heartfelt gratitude that at last there is an acknowledgment
  2. girl in my class snook out her bedroom window to go see the horslips aged 13 her mother who was a teacher discovered her gone and went to the local hall in her curlers and dragged her off the dance floor by her hair. Still a joke in our town!
  3. nor does jenn i imagine, her user name would imply forest hill shame she hasn't chosen there to improve as ED seems to be coping with recession pretty well but SE23 less so
  4. I gather from previous posts of Steves he is in his sixties therby reading his post I think he is saying as we age our memory is not as good as it once was and not neccessarily a sign of dementia. Dementia is indeed a horrible illness but if diagnosed early enough there is medication that can halt/slow down the progression.
  5. Thanks for replies gg &daize gg have looked at theatre monkey and it is pretty good just thought I'd get some opinions here absolutely true daize not mad about musicals myself but he is only seven and thought this might be the most useful show as he might get some tips on how to pay me back whilst in london
  6. Hi any advice appreciated I am taking my 7 year old nephew to this in July probably matinee, the most reasonable tickets at the moment are in the upper circle. He's a small seven so was wondering will this be too far from the stage?, the seats are in row H and one is in the aisle. Or was wondering should I wait til nearer the day and see if there are any returns in the stalls. It's a Wednesday and not in term time. He's over from Ireland so we need to get tickets, maybe too risky to wait! Has anyone been and where are the best views ? obviously stalls and dress circle I know. I have looked on theatre monkey but conflicting opinions given. Thanks

Agree on the antibiotics when it's bad and the bones in your face feel like they're going to crack they seem to be the only thing that works and pretty quickly at that

  18. There was a saying "if you can't get it in Peckham you won't get it anywhere" Rye Lane was once apperantly a great shopping area in '91 there still was M&S,BHS,Sainsburys, Austins was at the top with each floor accomadating to different budgets. Friends still talk about the great department store that was Higgins & Jones. Sad Woolworths has been replaced by a pound shop!
  19. Friend went on one with Small Families I think it was called but wasn't cheap but she said it was great to be part of group. What about getting cheap flights aer lingus are doing to Malaga for ?29 each way at moment and hiring a cheapish apartment or reasonable hotel
