I've heard most builders say they're very good quality especially the carcasses and if you wanted a more bespoke look you could get doors elsewhere. I'm very happy with my IKEA kitchen but got worktops elsewhere. A friend who got hers fitted by IKEA is very happy with kitchen but wasn't so happy with the istallation service from them which was a bit shoddy the installers don't actually work for IKEA they contract it out. Was very happy with the guy who fitted mine and he was very reasonable pm me if you want details
  4. Just received Service charge estimate for 2011/2012 still in shock, risen drastically ,thought last year was bad but this year really takes the biscuit. In the eight years I've been in my flat it has risen by over 300%
  5. Make him confess and apologise to neigbour in your presence. If he as any savings use them to repair any damage done. Take away pocket money, computer games whatever means most. Get him to offer to clean neighbours car for a period of time, there are many ways of dealing with it other than a beating.
  6. Whilst in Egypt it may have been acceptable and the norm, in this country it's not ok to beat children. One of the most memorable things I took away from a child protection study day some years ago was one of the trainers saying "don't let culture paralyse you"
  7. Bit of a nimby here but would hate the 63 to extend as live on the crest of the hill and noise wise it would be a nightmare asa the p12 & p4 make enough noise passing by and stopping outside. Is not the 197 from Barry road to Forest Hill an alternative to using Honor Oak

  14. What exactly are you not sure about? I live nearby catch the 63 bus at 7 & see young boys actually running to get the bus, they look like they are eager to get school which says something, pass it by on the bus about 7.15 and see lots of happy looking kids sounds good to me.
  15. Have heard great reviews of tower bridge nursing home recently from ambulance staff, a while ago they were regularily called there by staff who knew nothing about the residents, now they say they are called infrequently and when they are the staff know all about the resident and can give a good history apparently had has improved immensly.

  18. Many years ago as a young teenager in my small town in Ireland I was walking from a friends house by the river with another friend, I happened to look back and I saw a man with a long cape and big hat, and bagan to run my friend who is/was very level headed began to run soon after. It wasn't until I reached my home and she arrived a few minutes later that she agreed with me it was something very strange I believe I saw the devil that day why I don't know, but from a very small town we were able to know there were no fancy dress parties, it wasn't haloween it was very strange and I think of it rarely but remember being thoroughly scared and spooked and it's like he's always at my back.
