  1. Foxes fighting over a cat could rip it apart, and according to retired Professor of Environmental Science Stephen Harris who studied foxes for 50 years, the blunt force trauma injuries were consistent with road traffic accidents....it could be a new phase in the evolution of foxes to fight in groups since wheelie bins were introduced!
  2. I've had post problems and I've phoned them up and was assured that the closure of Sylvester Road would not affect any aspects of the mail- ha ha ha
  3. This is the mayor's problem- but since he is a politician then he will be chasing votes- so flats it is...and the well-off coming to London, who can afford the flats, will not be affected by any shade of politics and will virtue signal by voting Labour
  4. ' Brexit means big decisions that will impact on our wildlife for generations to come. New laws will be passed. It could be make or break for our bees, birds, and badgers. ' I was interested in this until I read this scaremongering bit from the Remoaners camp....you have NO IDEA about what the impact of Brexit will be on our wildlife- the biggest threat is overpopulation and the inevitable demand for housing- we are the most densely populated country in the EU...I wonder why?
  5. here is an opportunity to meet them in person! http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1969270 pardon the cynicism
  6. I feel for you- it's like Guy Fawkes Night around here most days

That doesn't follow- even if busier roads have police patrols the crims would go down the back streets and single out lone people at night- there is a hard core of 'people' who want as much as possible for minimal work. And even if they get caught (fake plates, mopeds going down alleys etc) what then? The CPS have to have evidence..and even if convicted they MAY go to a place where they learn even more anti-social behaviours. And whilst society is telling them that THEY are the victims they will act with impunity
  8. If you do not know someone personally who would take your 15 year old on then usually the school has a list of employers they will have used in the past. When the police had stations they would take people on; Pizza Hut have been known to take people on; Pets At Home?
  9. I've just seen a NL number plate on a Lexus in Jennings Road....so they go in for cheapo cars
  10. The outcry is not muted- I think most people are speechless, especially when elderly women are attacked- it is the lowest of the low- but then we have attracted the lowest of the low to London and there is NO deterrent
  11. Well as long as they don't start up weed cafes and concreting over everywhere I don't care...
  12. 'as families from different cultural backgrounds battle it out for superiority on their street' That's the sort of thing that was going on in the streets of Upton Park - 40 YEARS AGO! Spread your message...it sounds like a complete p*ss take imvho
  13. Burt Reynolds....aged 82
  14. I wouldn't stop if someone flagged me down in the dark around here...I would pull up further on and call the cops....why put yourself in danger...too much has happened to myself and family members.

Like an obstacle course. They don't all bury it Don't forget this- especially if there are any pregnant women around https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/toxocariasis/

    Bread

I keep my homemade bread in the fridge.....it will still go mouldy after a week or so...freezing it will stop the mould completely though. As for dried skimmed milk Marvel can be made up- or Co-Op or Sainsbury's own brand of dried milk can be made up
  19. why would anyone who is able to do a survey on public schools be in need of a ?5 paypal reward?...make it ?500 at least!
  20. The first sentence of the OP says it all really.... 'I have ongoing issues with the only council tenants in which resides on our street. '- that is NOT 'proper English' for a start! John Major and Edward Heath both lived in council houses in their youth....unfortunately the public school educated Tony Crosland, Labour minister, got rid of grammar schools (although that did not stop Harriet Harman from shunning Kingsdale school to send her son to one in Kent) which meant that the vast majority of clever kids from the working classes have had no real lifeline out of their impoverished start in life since. My theory is that if you don't educate the poverty- stricken masses then they will be easily fooled into voting Labour much like people were fooled into believing in god and an after life for the previous 2,000 years
  21. There are a couple of men camped out in Ruskin Park over by the tennis courts and they have a yellow Ofo bike.
  22. A few leaves- how absolutely precious! If you people are so anti-public- school (because let's face it- you are) why don't you go and live in another area. One of my in-laws used to turn red with rage every time I mentioned that my intelligent child went to Alleyn's on a government assisted place - paid for by the TAX payer- including her. I suppose I should have ferried my kid to a grammar school in Kent like Harriet Harman did!
  23. I have a massive tree outside my house in the street. The debris is continuous. My neighbour regularly sweeps his front garden and all the leaves etc end up in the gutter....and then get blown around
  24. When I did my O levels the Cambridge Board grading system was 1-9, but in reverse- 1 was the highest grade and 7,8,9 were fails.
  25. I think that the fact that the person did not go to your neighbours' probably means that your first instincts are correct- I believe we all need to err on the side of caution especially since the occurrence of this type of event https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-45232989
