  1. Interesting to note that Peter John reckons Labour were so successful because that's what hard working families want - what a joke - since Southwark has the 4th highest unemployment rate in London!

OMG https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2005/jun/26/uk.politicalnews ....and its from your fave libtard rag rh!!!
  4. The term 'brainstorm' was used widely before the year 2000 and then teachers in my school were told not to use it as it offends people with mental health problems...so we stopped using it.
  5. It's got to be the epitome of 'rubbing it in'.....after the 'third child' and not 'ruling out a fourth'...most working people can barely afford 1 child let alone a bloody wedding!
  6. flocker spotter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > its a pretty ugly house though. Shame, they could > have created something with a bit of substance to > it. hey ho. Yes- well I think it fits in with the ugly extensions and small blocks in the area quite nicely
  7. Add to that the selfish idiots who take up a third of the pavement with their perfectly manicured privet....especially if there is a tree outside their property- and you're lucky to pass through in single file!
  8. I vote for the Lib Dems locally- after all ED is quite nice apart from the endless ugly extensions on old victorian properties that the Labour council pass- and all the blocks of flats-they probably think- oohh yeah- turn a 4 bed family house into 3 flats, or 10 ooohhh yeah- think of the votes!

    Trees

Not surprising. Some people won't be happy until the entire country is concreted over- you've only got to look around the front 'gardens' in ED....I can see the practical reasons for managing trees near the railway lines though- whether they are being 'managed' properly is another matter..

  11. According to a Jamaican Radio page those that arrived were offered 'a clear path to British citizenship but refused to take up the offer' http://nationwideradiojm.com/are-some-windrush-scandal-victims-partly-to-blame/
  12. Why don't they just fly tip into the skips in the area.....
  13. I regularly walk in Dulwich Park and Ruskin Park. I have never had a problem with a loose dog in Dulwich Park but in Ruskin Park- where there is a very large field for dogs to run free and clear signs and fences cordonning it off from the pond and gardens area- there is always one selfish idiot who lets their dog off the lead to harass the wildlife and damage the plants....

  15. https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/948785/Windrush-scandal-Theresa-May-Jeremy-Corbyn-news-Andrew-Neil-BBC-This-Week according to this Gordon Brown ordered the destruction of the Landing Passes in 2009, which for some people was the only proof they had as they had never acquired a passport or citizenship. Of course- NO-ONE is going to believe it-are they? especially on the libtardfest that is the EDF
  16. this happened at about 3 am to us a few years ago- a man said he wanted money because his dad was in hospital and he wanted cab fare....one of my family stupidly answered the door- we were lucky
  17. And when a member of the public catches one the perp only gets 18 months. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5637663/Pictured-Battered-moped-thief-tackled-rugby-playing-banker.html
  18. Sainsbury's has acquired Argo so they will more than likely shut some Argos stores down- Argos has never been a place where you can inspect goods before you buy them- except for their mostly boring jewellery- so online is their way to go, I'd have thought.
  19. Yes weird that- most schools have movement sensors these days
  20. Don#t you just love these first world problems.....
  21. I drove from Rotherhithe to ED via Peckham and the roads are in an atrocious condition- How come ED is hit by so much roadworks?

Apart from violent crime, Crime rates have fallen. The more we want to 'own' the more someone will come and want to steal it. The violent crime is down to overpopulation and pressure- especially on younger people.
  23. Driving around recently it seems that the double yellows are proving very useful to the delivery vans we have constantly moving around the area....
  24. This was probably posted last summer but anyway, it's a seasonal thing- I loathe when the weather is nice and you get a coffee and go to sit outside and you are immediately surrounded by morons chain smoking- it is Banned in NY so it's about time it was banned here!!(imvho)
  25. Part of the syllabus for an A level in Performing Arts of some sort was doing some prosthetic work and the wounds looked quite realistic and horrific ....maybe he is putting his education to 'good' use!
