    Are people not aware that plastic carriers are made from oil and are therefore a waste of a finite resource? And have people not been using their own bags and bags for life for at least 15 years? And...what on Earth did people use before? And am I the only person who feels absolutely mortified if I forget my own reusable bag?

    If people in and out of uniform hadn't put their lives on the line to defend freedom and democracy in the 2 world wars of this century then who knows where we would be now. Short memories and ignorance imo

    That's appalling vesti because presumably they only allow students to pass into the VIth form if they are likely to get a C grade or above at AS which is predicted by their GCSE points score....so it makes you wonder what goes on that they underperform?

    I agree with Nigello. Littering is an individual's choice and the rest of us should not have to put up with or subsidise bad manners. There is someone who fairly regularly dumps stuff on the bin outside the newsagents on Crystal Palace Road at night...invariably foxes or cats rip the bags open and the rubbish is strewn all over the pavement and road.

    I have been bombarded by political stuff from people on facebook who I know are supposed to be at work. It is mostly left wing stuff (they are trying to convert me I think). If these people are so busy spreading the Corbyn message around on social media when they should be working (mostly in the public sector) then we will very soon be fubar (and of course it will be blamed on the PM)

    It was reported that some eastern european countries would only accept christian migrants...could have been because they had heard the reports of muslims throwing christians overboard from a crowded boat off the coast of Italy.

    My sister's boyfriend had a full beard and fairly unkempt hair for the entire 3 years they were together. I came home from work one day and there was a strange man in the front room. It wasn't until he spoke that I realised it was my sister's newly tonsured boyfriend.....totally unrecognisable. Anyway it turned out that he had done something very naughty and was about to run...

    Why should they care? half of them are probably illegal economic migrants, and they probably didn't understand what you were asking them not to do in the first place.
