Yeah I listened on 5 Live too, from R5. Actually I think the chances of a comeback were probably extinguished needlessly. It's entirely feasible that had he started less ambitiously and worked his way through increasingly challenging opponents he could have challenged (say) Malignaggi for world honours. Sounded like the ringcrsft was not back yet, but why would it be after 3.5 years of pissing it up and even doing cocaine ? I (now) think his brave return plan was over-ambitious and that he'd have been wiser to go through the gears gradually. But he's got balls for what he attempted - something the most avid gym rats wouldn't dare after even a year off. Personally though I always thought Hatton got hit too much, a common UK trait. That's why boxers like Kell Brook and Frank Buglioni are refreshing to watch. I had a pair of women's size 5 high-heeled sandals come from Next, addressed to me, i signed for the parcel assuming at first it was something from amazon/ebay. The shoes are too small for me so no good as a freebee. Called Next and told them there'd been a mistake. They said did I not open an account with them recently ? I confimed no. They put me through to their Fraud dept. Fraud said they'd close the account, but I had an obligation to return THEIR goods. I said come and get them. They said failure to return the goods is effectively theft. I said I'd return them to a Next store when I locate one near my usual route(s), they said OK. Reminder phone calls every few weeks then I started working right next to a Next store. Took the shoes in and got a receiopt from the cashier. Few months later got a call from Next saying they want the shoes back - I told them I'd returned the shoes and said where and roughly when (myreceipt was probably under a pile of something, somewhere, by now). They said prove it. I said well I need to find the receipt give me time to find it. They said no it's urgent. I said F.Off then I'll see you in court, you're taking the p*ss. If I could find the gal/guy who did this fraud I'd happily buy them a pair of 'sand wedges' and kick the pair of sandals right up their arse.

Either way, you could try couple therapy, stepping away eventually to leave him to his own 1-2-1 therapy/support to manage-out the lying. You need to trust a partner, you can't currently, so you should resolve it satisfactorily if you're to continue together. The fact that you're being told it's your fault the arguments occur is effectively saying that he should be able to continue saying what he wants, unchallenged, even if it's obvious drivel - not a runner.

Of course not, I'm not implying that at all. My post was more to say what I remember the tone of the judge's comments being, from radio reports I heard. It sounds like the guard was taking being a Jobsworth to an extreme degree and his belligerence cost the girl her life.

I think the judge said something along the lines that at the point of the incident it was the guard alone, he as the only person who could have influenced the situation, so he chose to send the train out when it was clear there was a person leaning against the train. He chose to do so when he could have simply not ordered the train to depart. He chose to send the train off and she died as a result.

When he gives the big monologues before or after a fight, he totally contradicts previous statements he's made !! Totally inconsistent - but I believe he's just spouting trying to play the game and make the eye-catching comments etc. ie. he says he lost to Ward because he wasn't himself nor fully prepared, but last night he said he's always fully prepared for every single contest, like he cannot remember what he's said previously and thinks no-one else will remember either !! He could do it better in theory but I think he's just not cut-out for that aspect of the whole game - the self-promotion etc. He's done do much now and beaten so many great boxers that I just respect the actual boxing, he's surpassed Calzaghe's achievements IMO and he's a genuine British live boxer at World level. Froch did what was predicted with Yusef Mack, but a lot quicker than expected - made Froch look good. I guess now its all about re-matches or revenge - Kessler, Dirrell, Ward. Then retirement. I really wonder how Mack was never an option for Cleverly, since his usual weight is LHW.

Yesterday I got a lunch takeaway after grocery shopping at Rye Lane - the Nigerian takeaway opposite Khans, all on display at the counter looked good, I had a big piece of fried Bream (spicy) ?3 which was huge and lasted to teatime, along with Joliffe rice. I was shocked at ?5 for the rice but it was dead good and a big portion. Like I say, the leftovers formed dinner. We're so lucky living near all this !
