  1. Serious question: for how many years will people require Victorian house copies to be built where any new developments occur ? I just need the integer.
  2. thanks Blah Blah, I did see someone's post earlier about Sopers opening again, so that's worth a try - appreciated !
  3. Gotta love Karma !
  4. Agreed. We need to move forward safely, adapting to the new times as best we can. Complaining without solutions may not help at all and, as Liam said, "the past means nothing".

"Most neighbors have small children but tolerate the really loud noise despite the fact it's so regular" How could you possibly know the above without having an idea who at least some of them are? That's how IMO. Anyway, the point is, having specified a set of people who are not happy but tolerating, why not go and ask those affected what course to pursue rather than strangers on the internet. (and no, I can't prove that all people on the internet are strangers to the poster).
  6. yeah I get that, but (for example) the fish counter at Wing Tai is on the street so you don't have to go inside and you can move around a bit if people get too close. Still have to pay at till though...
  7. fair point PnB, perhaps we should in fact just shut all shops because, after all, most of what they sell is available anyway in supermarkets !

  9. ask all your neighbours that are affected by it, rather than those who are not.
  10. thanks yeah I know that one Wing Tai, went the other evening but was shut, will try again. mancity68 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The Chinese/Vietnamese fish shop in Peckham down > the side of Morrisons? Opposite Primark? Usually > pretty good stock.
  11. good idea. 12. Thanks yourmomma - I checked Sainsbos website and Basa seems to come in fillets, I need whole fish which I was thinking Peckham probably likely. I need skin on fish to handle the fry. I've amended OP now to clarify that I need whole fish.
  13. Just finished off my last of catfish which was from Brixton markets a few weeks ago (frozen obvs). Don't really wanna go that far so anyone know if I can get it around here, ideally whole, and fresh or frozen ? Perhaps Peckham - ideally name / location of a shop so I can go direct rather than close-distance-trawl through 10 shops trying to find the critter ! Ta.
  14. I?d raise a concern about proximity of shooting to yours and others? gardens with Council and ask them to clarify the restrictions. I sometimes on bit of land outside London and when I shoot .22 or .144 (I think !), I have to be 50m or further away from the roadside or any adjoining property and must shoot away from those areas. I?m not saying I know the law, nor that country v city laws are the same, but it seems strange that in a built up city someone can legally pull out a gun and start shooting animals - what about neighbours? (and their pets?) safety ? Might be worth looking into, apols if you?ve already done this or it?s covered already above.
  15. well actually Foxy I wasn't having a go just seeking clarification, because reading your email it could be construed that you're saying you gave up the car as some kind of sacrifice for the greater good, but I think I remember you posting previously that you'd given up your car due to ill health / eyesight issues. Thats all.
  16. DulwichFox Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- .. When it comes down to Car ownership. ? I > gave up my car in Feb 2019 and rely on public > transport > and walking. You gave up the car for health reasons, right Foxy ? Not not for the environment or community.
  17. If Melbourne was one way too, possibly could work, problem would be the increased traffic down Melbourne trying to cross east Dulwich grove and the tailbacks that may cause.
  18. Does the email quote a valid policy or account no. that you can check and does it ask you to call or reply with key details ?
  19. "This format works for both trolls and the POTUS." hahahahahaaaaaaah !!
  20. Sounds good. No, I just wanted to know how the recipe went - having bought a bag of onions to try making myself..!
  21. Robbie - you think the reporter was selected on ethnicity by the news outlet she works for to represent at Trump's daily conference ? And her being there was used to try and inflate the 'USA v China' question ? I don't think so at all. Trump is a numpty, can't control his mouth and says rude things to a lot of people, guess who the benefit of the doubt goes to when dealing with people like that ? That's right, not him ! Stay Alert

With all this ?common sense? generously attributed to the British public, it?s a surprise we even needed legislation for driving regulations, weapons, drugs, or workplace rights. Yesterday it would have been a stupid proposition, today it?s a reality: ?Public must use their common sense to combat the virus?. One massive cop-out.
  23. How did the onion bhajees turn out malumbu ?
