Good call on LS&2SBs, that could give JRussell some ideas about how to deal with the situation. Your notion about violently ejecting Gruaniad readers seeems a little extravagant however, a casual shoulder tap, combined with a combat boot hovering over the toe of their Campers would suffice. Obviously Alan Rusbridger would hear of it, but he wouldn't get involved. Oh and JRussell, as well as the Dave Courtney DVD, I've got another of Joey Pyle who didn't f@ck about either.

We'll know he's gone native if the line "Do you feel lucky, c@nt?" features in the filum/flim/movie. -

Definitely the cello, just because of that group Swans Way (or SwannsWay or even Swann's Way, perhaps). Anyway they were from the 80s, can't be more specific because I just can't. They had that song with a great lilt to it that I bought after seeing them on The Tube I think it was. It had a ferrety vibe and a lusty singer. Boss tune so it was.

Can't think why people are blathering on about short memories, trees etcerera and so on. It's hardly in the spirit of a request made here on Bonfire night. Anyway JRussell, send me a pm and and I'll sort you out with a Dave Courtney DVD. That way you can get it done legal, brutal or any combination thereof.

And the only guns will be the multi-buttoned ones attatched to the hoses dispatching the carbonated beverages. Everything will be all right. Forever.

Once more the bringer of joy (Manfred Mann style) and harbinger of seasonal festivites that is HONALOOCHIEB ie me *points fingers at self* is amongst us. But as for Chener Books, a Kafka on them, let's see how they like waking up as an insect like the rest of us have done.

I miss them both because they would regularly bump the 'I'm In Love With HonaloochieB' thread back up to the top, these days no f@cker bothers. Thanks to their efforts I was quite the celebrity in the Forest Hill and Walworth Road manors. Cheers lads and there's a couple of pints of wallop 'in the pipe' up at The Capitol for you both. -

Isn't it refreeshing to see a thrusting entrepenurial type like SteveO, who isn't shy about getting involved and giving his latest venture the old school hustle. It's exactly this sort of freewheeling gogetterism that will lift the country out of the financial schtuck we are presently stuck in. I insist that we all go and buy an autographed copy of SteveO's book, but ask John for a discount because it's got scribble in it. I mean it's worth a try and SteveO'll understand. And it'll ensure he makes the EDF his first port of call for any future promotional activities.
-
SteveO should be ashamed of himself, starting a thread about a beloved local institution only to descend into money-grubbing self promotion by the third sentence. It's just this kind of unregulated opportunism that's got the country into the financial mire we currently find ourselves mired in. I suggest that every EDFer go and buy a copy of SteveO's new book and insist on paying extra for an unautographed copy. That'll teach him not to attempt his viral marketing round these parts in the future.

Yes but with Go-Go dancers, Maria. GO-GO DANCERS. Think about it.

... the WDF and NFs are. Had attacks of the vapours and with no one on hand to administer the spirit of sal volatile had to take a rest cure for a couple of weeks. Or was it BBW arsing about again? Either way still Josephines.
