  4. *cannon is fired into audience, with pinpoint accuracy child is fired back into his seat his clothes burnt and hanging off him he is dazed and confused, the audience goes wild and give the clowns a standing ovation*
  5. *snatches child from front row, throws child at Quids*
  6. Funny old word 'unisex' isn't it? It seems to imply the opposite of what it means. This is probably the least auspicious 4000th post ever made. I'm in a pensive mood today.
  7. *Who chases Quids with a bucket of water, trips and throws it into the front row of the audience instead, to reveal that the bucket actually contains...water* We are bad clowns. We are in fact The Insane Clown Posse.
  8. The Truth The Whole Truth Nothing But The Truth - Ian Hunter
  9. It was reinstated on the ED issues and gossip thread but lots of bits had fallen off it. Like a clown's car.

When star meant something. There's a story about the Herman Wouk 'Winds Of War' (I think that's what it was called) TV series that he appered in, when RM was asked a question in an interview about it, he apparently gave his interlocutor a bit of a look from 'those eyes' and informed him that it didn't stipulate in his contract that he actually had to watch the programme, so he wouldn't be able to assist him in his query. There was only one Robert Mitchum mould and it got smashed sharpish.
  16. Heston - to make a task complicated in the early stages, by what appears to be a simple instruction, but is followed with something right out of left field Based on the chef's instruction to put the steak in the oven on a low heat, for twenty four hours.

I'll make it up to a pound note if you promise me you didn't have to Google it. I'll leave the hair ruffling if you don't mind, not that it doesn't look great on you, but that Stu Stu Studioline 'product' has brought me out in hives in the past. I know you'll understand.
  18. And I've just thought, I've got Kenneth Williams' diaries somewhere too. As I recall he wasn't a 'cottager' in the same way as Orton, but you never know. If I see anything that might be useful, I'll let you know.
  19. I have a copy of Joe Orton's diaries somewhere, but I can't put my hand on it right now. Also, it was written in the 60s, so I suppose most of the 'cottages' he wrote about will no longer be in existence. I'll see if I can look it out for you anyway.
  20. Lepercorn, used to describe emerald green unripe corn in those 'pick your own' farms that unwitting people buy, take home, consume and then become so vomitous they feel their extremities are falling off.
  21. I'm thinking, Giggi that you and your best bitches in full flight would be a sight worth seeing. Mash potatoes as opposed to 'mashed', spot on. 'Mashed'sounds as if they've been oppressed into submission, 'mash' on the other hand feels like the spuds have consented and worked with the utensils involved. The really sparkly high heels are of course a bonus. Franklins should consider themselves the luckiest restaurateurs in all of Christendom and make every Friday 13th Giggi And Her Bitches night. HUGS.

But what about having LOVE tattoed on the other hand? And there'll be a Kolly Kibber style ten bob note and an avuncular ruffling of the hair for the first young scamp to tell me which film those tattoos come from.
