  1. Well it's only one with me, but fingers crossed.

TLS is guilty of bloody good punning on Sue and Sweep. Though how Soo feels about her name being mispelt is not known, she was asked for a quote but noone could hear her because of that silly voice of hers. Only got herself to blame if you ask me. Bloody Panda, she should go back to China if she can't be bothered to speak the language properly.
  3. Just some points of information. We bunco artists always refer to it as casing the joint or 'sussing out the drum' when inspecting premises. And Karter no self respecting flim-flam man would turn up slugging a can of Strongbow. Jesus, don't they teach them anything in approved school these days.
  4. Sorry to go off topic slightly, but I've just heard that Murder One the crime book shop in Charing Cross Rd is closing after 21 years. Anyone else as heartsick as me? There's a possibility that two of the staaff will be running an on-line store. But still, my trips up to the heart of London's busy West End won't be quite the same.

If it wasn't for yourself and TLS...
  7. I just tried it with Vanessa Feltz, it really is very soothing, MM.

Yes, they could be by some up and coming new talent. Some could be 'gritty', some could be 'dark' or possibly 'surreal'. That'd give us something to complain about.

  10. Good move on getting the reataurant reviews though. That's where the proper kickbacks are. Sweet. And a starter and a main as well.
  11. I haven't been rude to them H, I was my useful helpful self. Though if they use one of my suggestions I shall expect a fee.
  12. What A Waste - Ian Dury & The Blockheads
  13. Sounds like top-flight TV. Some suggestions for the title if that's alright. I'm Gonna Tear You A New One. Bastard! Yes You! A Faceful Of Spittle. My Year With The Boss From Hell. Fear Me You Curs. This Sh!t Is Unacceptable. Get Out Of My Office You Sack Of Puke. I Despise You, You Worm. I Can't Stand Your Feet, Get Out Of My Kitchen.
  14. I think it's a good idea to take a break from the hurly-burly of the news section TM. It seemed to be getting on top of you and we don't want you having some sort of Syd Barrett-like breakdown and burning out, like some sort of crazy diamond. I'm afraid I'm not wery well 'up' on football or indeed sport in general, so I'm afraid I won't be as good a source for stories as I have been recently. Still I'll keep a weather eye out for any hard news stories while I'm out and about, and obviously anything involving Fearne Cotton on the lash. Good luck.
  15. No PGC, as if. It's what Ralph Filthy used as a term of endearment in Filthy Fich And Catflap.
  16. Has anyone seen that huge poster that I got signed by both Ian Hunter and Mick Ronson backstage at the Fairfield Halls on 30/3/1975? If you see it, be a looby and pass it back to me.
