  1. Mutton? Oh, Mutt 'n'? Well, a little bit since you ask. But not so's you notice. According to my physician, a monocle in my left lug'll bring my hearing back to perfect earsight. I recommend my man J.C.T. Jennings without reservation.

That's very good of you Samstopit, and as soon as I figure out how to use an e-voucher, I'll let you know how I spent it. I'm thrilled to be getting one, though. Can I get Nectar points with it? I speak as one who once used 14,000 of those precious points on a Freeview thing, a thing if I could turn my neck round, I'd see laying dormant. Behind me. Still, I shall use restraint in my use of the 'e' voucher, and will, I trust make you proud. Regards
  3. Debris - The Faces. OK, I know it's bending the rules, but Ronnie sang it and I think it's a beautiful song. Please indulge me. All right, I've had a couple, but now I think of it The Faces A Nod's As Good As A Wink sounds right to me, right about now. Stay With Me on this one...
  4. But what's the quickest way to Shepherd's Bush? Up a Shepherd's leg.

  7. Cain slew Abel and was cast east of Eden. Probably got sent on a bloody safari holiday as well, I shouldn't wonder. Even then the judiciary was shackled by political correctness.

Actually I remember when Ravi started there and everyone wanted to see his dad, in order not wait one day I said I would see Ravi, and lo his popularity blossomed. I think of myself as giving him his start in the medical profession. I haven't had to go the docs for a couple of months so I wonder if the difficulties people have encountered are a recent thing. Yes the phone system can be a bit of an arseache, but I always got through after hitting redial for a few minutes and always got an appointment on the day. I wonder if it'll be different next time I try. There is no place for rudeness, particularly in a GP's and if MW received bad treatment she should c omplain. My own experience has always been good with both the admin and medical staff. Oh except for a doc who was there a while ago, Phillip something, he was a git. I think I preferred it when it was in the old house down the road, it was handy for the Uplands if you got bad news.

  13. Yes but Ted, when the power and money are attached to John Kale it's understandable. Seminal he is.

  15. Didn't any one think to look under the flower pot in the Dulwich Garden Centre? The spare key's always there.

  17. I used to sport a pair of pink peg slacks, with a black dinner jacket, black shirt, silver tie and white brothel creepers. Well, I thought it looked good, so just shut it, right.
  18. What John Kale, the viola eating drug monkey from seminal art-rockers The Velvet Underground? Is that your mate, Snorky?
  19. It's all so bally, I mean to say the sheer bally balliness of it all.
  20. 25 quid for chops? He could have filled his freezer for that if he'd gone to Iceland. More money than sense some people.
