Facebook is removing all QAnon pages from it's p;atforms "A company spokesperson said the enforcement, which started Tuesday, will ?bring to parity what we?ve been doing on other pieces of policy with regard to militarized social movements,? such as militia and terror groups that repeatedly call for violence."

I actually remember saying way back then that once you start to put in a lot of table data you should ask yourself is a spreadsheet best for this or should I move it to a database. 1992 LOL.

I don't know - I'm not that scared but when I go to the pub I like to stand at the bar not sit alone at a table. Maybe some kind of similar thing is happening and people don't like the new normal. Maybe I should try a pint alone in the corner of one of the quieter pubs - if this isn't going away. We all may have to get used to this :( -
Just noticed that a load of data wasn't entered into the figures as 'the files were too big to fit on the system'. This could have had a noticeable effect on figures and peoples response Being an IT guy I say that this would have been reported to the managers and kicked up the chain of management. They can't blame the guy who was uploading the data and got an error unless he told no-one or got told what to do and didn't. There must have been some kind of asterix on the data about this. Edit: And on the news they're now saying "truncated" - implies data was uploaded bu error message was returned. Not sure if this was an automatic or manual process but the error messages were monitored I take it ?

You won't be seeing Lawrence Fox in Sainsburys - he's boycotting it. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/laurence-fox-sainsburys-boycott-black-history-month-a4563556.html

This is the problem - it's supposed to be a process put in place from the top then employees are trained on it and follow it without forgetting or lapsing (or if they do they go back to the training) If a pilot crashes his plane you don't just remind him not to next time - you look at the process and why it wasn't followed. My feeling (I was in Asda and no staff had their masks on) is that the process is not to wear masks - not that the staff are not following it.

Checking systems are there and implemented and training provided not the sack. If someone doesn't follow the rules after that you have to ask why at that point. Watch Air Crash Investigation for an idea how these things work

Maybe it's my south walian side (my uncle teaching me how to behave at a funeral comes to mind) but you should follow laws unless you detect an ethical issue. I don't have one about the 10pm curfew, the government should explain themselves better about this curfew (it's not obvious why it's there or is it executed very well). But if we disobeyed every law we disagree with or don't understand the country would be chaos.

I'm sure London subsidises the rest of the UK.

That isn't about Covid-19. the same would happen if a pub served after hours (and they don't - they make a huge fuss about not doing so in most pubs as they know how the law works - I tried enough when younger)

Just read on twitter that Trump has gone underground to take out the deep state leadership I was only trying to follow Mr Fox's complaints about Sainsburys :)

There does seem to be yet ANOTHER crappy algorithm at the basis of this mind. Algorithms are tested in normal circumstances and sometimes in abnormal circumstances the algorithms fail.

https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-wayfair-human-trafficking/fact-check-no-evidence-linking-wayfair-to-human-trafficking-operation-idUSKCN24E2M2 False. There is no evidence linking Wayfair to a human trafficking operation. Real human slavery/trafficking support organisations are not happy about this. https://polarisproject.org/press-releases/polaris-statement-on-wayfair-sex-trafficking-claims/ of course they could be all in on it - the journalists at reuters, the support staff at Polaris - but I doubt it.

Americans are obsessed with the Hot Dogs and Pizza. If you work with them you see this culture all the time.

QAnon reminds me a bit of continuation the Satanic Ritual Abuse scandal that went on and on through the 1980s and 1990s and you still find references to in newspapers. In general there seemed to be no large scale organised abuse (someone will disagree and that's OK as small scale abuse definitely happened but there was no overarching conspiracy) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satanic_ritual_abuse

I think Pence might be worse than Trumnp. He's Trump with a radical religous conviction. The White House staff are in panic apparently, The super spreader event was supposedly the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett as nominee for the supreme court.

There will be a few who don't care or who don't seem to be able to understand current events affect holidays too .. and a few just trolling. Back in 2001 a few (and separate groups too) dressed up as Osama Bin Laden for Halloween and wondered why there was such a bad reaction.

The guys who come to install my smartmeters refused last week as "nowhere to park near Peckham Rye and too difficult to get there" (actually they said they need two men to deliver to Peckham Rye - obviously one acts as lookout) I don't care about smartmeters but nobody seems to be able to navigate the roads around here and delivery people need to walk it seems (or park illegally as my sofa delivery man blatantly did and didn't give a hoot ) :)

So will traffic that currently tuns right at Peckham Rye east southbound into East Dulwich Road westbound be diverted to Peckham Rye West southbound and be allowed to turn right there or will there be an alternative route through the lanes further east

So no chance of change. The Lane is Rye Lane isn't it ? OK there maybe some tiny differences but to my eye the Lane ward pre 2018 is the same as Rye Lane ward post 2018
