  1. Fur Q - Uzi Lover The first line always amuses me: "C*nt. B*tch. C*nt B*tch Mutha F*ucker!"
  2. I like the fact that I can walk up to people in the pub tonight and ask if they post, if they say no I can give them a postcard. If they say yes, I'll give them two. Bonza!
  3. >... do this by credit card and not get charged an extra credit card fee Top tip Mikewbate, thanks
  4. yet smelt like his old dear did
  5. I've heard of introducing ladybirds to them but I haven't found any recently. Soapy water sounds like the one to try, will washing up liquidy water suffice?
  6. Well it's looking like it's not going to rain in the morning http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/dayforecast.asp?zipcode=se22%209ap&day=2 :)

Why was Cinderella no good at sport? Because her coach was a pumpkin
  9. Do you see what I mean macroban? Having told people that the thread's off topic and maybe lounged, there's that last post. It's in discussion with the previous posts so shouldn't be removed, yet it going further off topic. Instead of it being removed and deleted I'm sure it'll be be slid over to the lounge soon, where the fact it moves to the top of the list when it's replied to won't get in the way of other General ED issues / gossip posts. Sorry Mr Admin, thought I'd step in again as I know you're busy.
  10. leaving the flat this morning I noticed that the hedge out the front had blackfly on it which are stunting the grown of the leaves. How do I get rid of the pesky blighters?
  11. Which reminds me of this: classy
  12. Hi giddygecko Sorry to hear about your accident, I'm on a scooter too so I'll look out for you. Oh, and of course, welcome to East Dulwich. Mark
  13. I'll answer this one if I may Mr Admin. It isn't possible to make a judgement on every posting as to whether it's taking the thread off topic. If it's totally unrelated or chatting between users it's frowned upon and action is taken. Generally long threads go off topic, and then back on topic, then wildly off topic then back op topic etc. When a thread goes off topic for a while (and after a while) then a call may be made to Lounge it or a warning is issued. I know irresponsible posters are warned privately every now and then for their behaviour and this isn't seen in the public domain. I know postings are removed every now and then and these aren't seen by the majority. As the forum's meant to be an informative and fun place, the call is made to pleasantly Lounge a thread rather than destroy it by removing the posts (that can be amusing and informative but not specific to East Dulwich). Anyway, I still think ED needs something decent on the Goose Green roundabout, I know ?8,000 has been assigned to it and I see the flowers have now been removed. I feel something is coming soon...
  14. ...ation The poster of the 10,000th post in the general General ED issues / gossip section was... SeanMacGabhann. Congratulations Sean, a large pile of satisfaction is winging it's way over to you now, we hope you enjoy it.

  20. East Dulwich needs wider pavements on Lordship Lane, ok it doesn't need to but it would be nice to have. Just like it would be nice to have a death slide* from Dog Kennel Hill and Dawson's Height to Goose Green. *http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/42001000/jpg/_42001392_engsuedayslide270.jpg

  25. Do you have any direct links to evidence from recognised health bodies rather than the Daily Mail and the the association for the electrically hypersensitive? There is that great big aerial on top of Somerfields, does anyone here get affected by that? [edited once]
