I agree that it's horrible and getting worse but on the lighter side I suspect dogs can't read and the stencils are useless to them 😉

  10. Should this thread now be moved to the lounge as its no longer ED specific ? In relation to XRs actions, they are now in their 4th year, instead of causing disruption over that period, some of them could have completed degrees in physics, chemistry, biology and electronics and then taken research jobs in industries looking at reaching net zero and helped us all achieve that goal rather than expecting governments on their own or peoples assembly to be able to solve the problem. Brains not brawn is the real way forward.
  11. Sports washing is where they associate junk food with sports or sport activities to give the impression that it is somehow a healthy choice or can be a reward for healthy activity

Check your submitted meter readings I just went onto my account and the readings that were showing up on the 1st April as accepted on the 31st March have now vanished 🤪
  13. Two less camping tonight I suspect BBC News - Tower Bridge: Re-opens after Extinction Rebellion protest https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-61029511

I would recommend that viewing the Michael Mosley documentary on catch up will give you cause to think about the first part (eating less) and some interesting facts about exercise alone won't help. If nothing more, it's a fascinating investigation
  15. Maybe, playing the devil's advocate, humans shouldn't be stopped from going extinct as the planet would be better off without us and given a short period of time (geology speaking) it will recover and thrive just like it did post the dinosaur extinction event.
  16. Maybe the council can move them on to Dulwich Square
  17. Or what's the frequency of the no 12 bus Or who's Al Murrey 😅
  18. Is it, Travellers bath more frequently ?
  19. Crikey Some questions are hard like when did Christianity start in Britain? Knowing that depends if you are religious or not and stayed awake in RE Also sports questions depends if you follow sports or not ...
  20. Thanks legal I've always wanted to meet swampy 🤥

  22. Did anyone watch the Michael Mosley documentary on "who made Britain fat" ? Whilst food labelling is a positive step, he pointed out that things like sports washing fast food and delivery services are still a problem that will accelerate the obesity crisis.

Jenijenjen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Oh Waseley, you haven't been paying attention. > It's all the Labour Southwark Council's fault and > the Labour London Mayor's fault, any other point > of view has become heresy on the Forum. Fabulous bit of gaslighting there jenijenjen, no one has blamed anyone but you may have noticed that I pointed out councillors and councillors to be should be all over this in terms of discussing with tfl about getting the frequency restored which will in turn support their active travel agenda. Although as the Mayor says, "to the Mayor of London.and TfL every journey mayters" unless you can't get on because reduced frequency potentially means buses are more often full so passengers may be left at a stop.
