  9. There's an article on bbc London news about the mayors plan to "have a managed decline in bus services in Central London" by reducing routes that duplicate each other and redeployment the buses to the outer boroughs. The report shows how difficult it is for some commuters to get on already packed buses. Tje cynic in me wonders if the redeployed buses to the outer zone is also a way to justify extending the ULEZ as the outer boroughs will be better served by buses.🤔 Food for thought, and I suspect the removal of duplicated routes in central london will backfire as badly as a badly tuned polluting car when commuters start to return to the office on mass.
  10. Sigh Kid, one upmanship over exactly where concord flew is so immature .. Especially as it was 110% for sure right over mine, as it used to make grandma Spartacus' teeth rattle in her glass

  12. I'm curious to see if on the last day of the forum, if there will be an entry for the EDF 🤔

  14. Wasely, are you trying to knock Foxy of his much fought for "strange random response" pedestal? You have many more posts to do before you can go man o Mano with King Foxy 🤴
  15. Grass please London is already over developed and we need green spaces to provide mental wellbeing and lungs for the city. Trying to accommodate everyone who wants to live in London is like squeezing your size 16 body into a size 8 dress, eventually it will pop at the seams (if the gusset of infrastructures doesn't collapse first) Whilst it's not ideal, encouraging people not to move to London by moving jobs out of the capital and to areas where work is badly needed will give London a chance. The reality is that the more Homes that are built, the more people will want to live here, but like any supply and demand situation, if there's no supply, then the demand will look elsewhere. Sorry but building on green spaces isn't going to solve Londons overcrowding problem, but it possibly will make it worse. Anyway I thought everyone was going to work remotely from towns and cities outside London 🙃

Your post reminded me of a bus driver on the route 11 when, 18 years ago, they introduced the new titan class bus to the route which had tannoy systems for the first time. He spent the whole journey telling all the passengers about the bus what it was capable of, it was like he was reading the sales brochure 😆
  17. I sometimes wonder if Bob and Foxy are both parody accounts with Bob being obvious and Foxy mostly believable 🤣
  18. I picked up a leaflet by a company called cat loc which has one potential solution, but the real problem is that the stolen units are easily sold on. The key is to stamp out the buyers then the theives won't have an incentive to steal.
  19. Oh, it's not another of Bob's spoof posts is it..... Damn I was looking forward to the Roquefort comparison tables, now I'm feeling blue 😕
  20. I'm confused Comparing a 24 month and 36 month Parmesan is like comparing apples with pears.
  21. But do they taste the same Bob, or does colour influence your taste buds ?
  22. Delivering new black gold to the petrol station on the roundabout ?
  23. Maybe they are using a no 12 bus to get it from the sorting office in Peckham to here 🤔
  24. And when train services are suspended or disrupted the 12 is going to get rammed 🤔
  25. The 12 always used to get packed after a few stops pre covid Whilst passenger numbers are reduced, there is still potential this reduced service to get packed quickly, so a 14 minute gap could end up being a 28 minute plus wait for a bus with room to get on. To encourage people back into buses, they need to be accessible, not so packed that you can't get on and frequent. If not people being people will stick with cars, taxis or other easier options.
