It's happened, but despite not wanting to watch it , it is dominating the news Would hate to have my family issues aired in public like that. It sounds more like Jeremy Kyle should be doing the interview from the clips I've heard... "so Andrew, Meghan said you did xyz, what have you got to say about that" or "and you say Harry's not your child, would you care to see the paternity test we did on that ? Results after the break !"

Blimey give some people a yard and they will take a meter 😱 Imagine the cost of doing this (every road sign, road map....) what about nautical miles (global standard) and then what ? Everyone drive on the right ? Madness, all madness and I'll wager a groat it won't happen

According to the BBC "Mr Fox - who is leader of the Reclaim Party - said if elected he would lift lockdown the day after the elections are held on 6 May" That will appeal to the Sunday Sport readers 😱

In the same envelope or at the same time ? If the same time it could be down to the delivery company combining two jobs into one 🤔🤔

Wow You lot so obviously need the pubs to reopen and to have a bout of fisticuffs on a Friday night to release your lock down tensions 😱🤕

Amazing So after getting a resounding no from east dulwich and still slipping in a partial CPZ, southwark want to try again. What's this attempt 4 in the past 25 years if my memory serves me well...

Thank you Peter I would also like to temper your statement of "I've never argued against consulation; my only point was that it shouldn't become a means whereby a noisy minority can indefinitely delay or veto every project ? councillors have to accept that complete consensus from every local is almost certainly impossible." As it has to apply both ways, so that a small vocal minority can't influence a consultation against the wishes of the masses. It needs to work both ways to avoid consultation bias.

Lazy leaflet delivery people who leave leaflets hanging out the letterbox like some sort of signal to burglar "yoo hoo,no-one in here" and worst of all I'm not even interested in the bl00dy crime prevention advice in the leaflet

Alan You caught me fair and square. I thought I had gotten away with living like the common people , doing whatever common people do, sleeping with common people. Yours Jonathan Harold Esmond Vere Harmsworth, 4th Viscount Rothermere

I had to smile when I read how this thread started. I agree it's wrong and dangerous. But "A man and two children coming down CP road on an electric scooter." Does sound like the start of a joke Maybe we should have s forum prize for the best punchline 🤔😂😂 Edited to add my entry "Boom Boom two of them fell off" 😱

Don't challenge and I won't rationalise 🤔

Why it should bother you, I've no idea. Because it's hypocritical of them Their main reason for leaving the UK was because the media was intruding in their lives yet here we have them on Saturday night live and Oprah ... kind of weird that they didn't want media attention but now they do Very insensitive timing, with Phillip in hospital

Ah So if they get the right sort of publicity and or payment it's fine But if it's the sort that doesn't pay (unless you count court cases) then it's not. Either they don't want the press in their lives as they claimed when they left , or they do... it's fairly binary

Royals who run away to America because they are "being hounded by the media" only to appear on American chat shows telling their stories.. Talk about double standards , either you want media attention or you don't 😱

Lol is the lesson "hermits don't get the lurgy" ? But again a good point, we all need better hands and face hygiene going forward into winters to additionally suppress winter illnesses

In a nutshell side streets are narrow, without passing room for a lorry and car to go in opposite directions so one or the other will have to back up or cause a log jam of vehicles The lorries thunder down the roads (not respecting the 20 mph limit) and if they hit a pedestrian not expecting them on a quiet street then it will be quite nasty. Basically side roads aren't designed for regular use by big lorries

What you are saying blah blah is perfectly correct However, it does give us an opportunity to start to fight back against flu spreading in future years. I have a feeling that hands, face and space or similar guidance will be here for a few winters to come. If that's the case then combined with the flu vaccine we could see flu going the same way as measles If people around the world aren't catching it on mass then it possibly won't mutate and be less virulent till it virtually dies out. One can but hope
