I've joined Everyone active having seen the improvements made since they took over from fusion. The water in the pool is definitely cleaner, ditto ladies loos seem cleaner. The gym is well equipped and the staff as previously mentioned are superb.. Now all we need is an aqua zumba class and I'd be 100% delighted with my discision to join.

i saw the signage on the hoarding and sniggered. "Tribeca'- Triangle below Canal Street is how the area got its name. I don't know of any Canal Street in ED. Nor any canal. Its pathetic giving the building such a pseudo hipster name. I'm now expecting to see "Williamsburg Hights''Dumbo Court' 'Hoxton House' cropping up in our 'nabe

I'm actually lucky enough to have been invited by a friend to go to the viewing on Saturday morning- aparently theres an all night viewing Friday into Saturday, we're going at 7.30am. I don't know how she got tickets but it should be fascinating.

I did wonder why the was such a long wait for a bus going south from Denmark Hill yesterday evening.

I find Brickhouse very milky and quite tasteless. StDavids in Forest Hill best by far.

I went there on Monday. Found staff helpful and friendly. Only minor niggle is slightly confusing layout..but hey! it was my first visit. Could perhaps do with better veg selection. However I came out with superb quality produce at a fair price for the quality. Its a great asset to the area.

I'm sorry but I do find this shop horribly overpriced for mediocre clothing. I prefer to donate to Mind and St Christophers where at least the clothes are sold at prices that the poorer folk amongst us can afford.

I've found a huge improvement in the cleanliness and maintenance of the pool and changing rooms since Fusion left. As a resident of Forest hill I am crossing my fingers that Fusion lose management of Lewisham pools too, as despite being only a couple of years old FHP is already run-down and filthy. The pool water feels slimy and soapy and is always cloudy.Temprature of the pool and showers is unreliable. The toilets stink, the changing cubicles are filthy and smell of pee...etc etc. Needless to say I pay to go to the DLC

Myself and my workmates all had our bags stolen from the back of a boutique I was a saturday girl in on Kings Rd in Chelsea in the late 70's-theif entered through a back fire exit door and took all our stuff. opportunists will strike wherever you are.

The Deli was awful...overpriced produce with truly awful service. they made me feel they were doing me a favour bothering to serve me. Went twice..that was enough. Theres loads of good deli style places in and near Lordship Lane. I welcome this shop.

heartbreaking reading. Please take it to the press- Its important that people are made aware that things are going on in our hospitals. I myself was an oncology patent 9 years ago and even then I saw great variables in my treatment depending if it was agency nurses or the regular nurses. an agency nurse the day after I'd undergone a 10hour operation didn't notice I had 6drains attached to me and tried to get me to sit up and get out of bed pulling me by my arms whilst I screamed in agony-luckily my surgeons were actually starting their ward round at that moment and one of them came over and physically picked me up and lay me back down whilst explaining I couldn't be pulled around like that with the drains attached. My heart bleeds for you and your wife. Sadly unless someone becomes seriously ill or is with someone with a terminal illness they don't realise our hit and miss NHS healthcare has become. Dont let this rest, I know its exhausting but please take this to the top. No one should suffer as your wife did. God bless.

Its in the afternoon though, so hardly like they're rehearsing last thing at night. I think good luck to them...

Much appreciated seeing you respond to our posts. The farmers market is a great asset to our community and I'd hate to see it fail or close. As we live opposite we do visit every Saturday and buy almost all our salads and veg for the week there. Its great, means we can truly shop local, getting meat from the butchery and fish from moxons,other bits from sainsbury. It would be great to have a fresh fruit stall there, and perhaps a stall selling good freshly made salads that you can mix in a box, like the stall in Northcross road-she's very reasonable and you can have a big box of salads olives etc for around ?5.00 she also sells superb pies and scotch eggs homemade at a fraction of the price of the current scotch egg stall in the market. Please try and avoid the rubbish cup-cake stalls and try and get the odd good niche product-the other week there was a great stall selling just garlic based products. Perhaps a gluten free and dairy free cake, sweets and bread /pastry stall could be a good option. Good luck!

We still go to the Horniman farmers market and buy our weekly salad stock there, and veg-in fact we rely on it, however I would agree that there seem to be less and less stalls, especiallly as now its the summer I thought it would have picked up. There seem to be too many stalls selling cupcakes and nonsense rather than a good selection of fresh produce. I personally DONT think the salads and veg are hideously over-priced my other half and I are a civil servant and shop assistant so certainly NOT on large salarys, and I find the cheese stall lady is wonderful at selling small less expensive portions. In fact its only the scotch egg stall that I find a bit of a rip-off to be honest. We checked out the new dulwich village farmers market and by comparison that WAS very expensive...serves us right I suppose!

I agree that Fusion are pretty rubbish at running pools and Leisure centres. I am an adult but have only just learned to swim (aged 55) and am very nervous when out of my depth and when theres kids jumping in the water in a boystrous manner (I mean teenagers-not little ones) I used to go to Forest Hill pool but gave up because there were always teens leaping into the water and ducking and pushing each other in and it made me nervous swimming by them-I'm not a good enough swimmer to go in the Fast lane so need to use the general swim lane. There used to be one superb lifeguard who would walk round the pool, tell kids off if they were behaving badly and generally keep an eye on things. He's now left and in his place are bored teenagers who don't seem to watch whats going on and seem more intent on having a laugh with each other than monitoring the safety of the pool users. I now no longer go there.
