It would be the Council decision to close the market on H&S grounds, but they did not make it. The road was closed as usual and there were a couple of stalls there. Only about profit. The food vans don't blow away yet they were missing. -
I subscribe to Brimful of Ashas advice on pillows.

North Cross Road Market (where's it gone?)
unlurked replied to Ron70's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
The stall holders are not the kindly folk offering goods and wares just to make ED a lovely villagey place to be and skip in fields of flowers. They're profit making businesses and thats all. Do they want to come out in wet and windy weather when they think they won't make as much cash as usual? Of course not. Thats why the road closures etc is a joke when if they don't 'need' the money/won't make as much cash as usual they don't turn up. -

You're out of order. A process needs to be followed. People on here commenting on process not being followed, and people entirely correct in posting about that. Already different dates are mentioned. And for your info MM, Barber is NOT a formal proper means or mechanism to object or comment on planning applications.

Er why, because I give an honest opinion that you don't agree with? No one else on this thread not out of order that have a differnt opinion based on experience? Just me. Be objective not emotive. I've had experiencd births and deaths at Kings and stand by what ive said. -

So predictable! Did you read the post, Sue? Have you been to Guys, Sue? Are you saying that every department, ward and person in Kings is better than the equivalent at Guys? Just for you Sue, in my experience of attending Kings for years, Guys is far better in treatment, time waiting, politeness, cleanliness and care. One major thing wrong with Kings, not their fault, is the place being filled with cops and scummy criminals who have been 'injured' committing crimes etc. -

What lane lover said. But sounds like a mistake due to false sense of security due to OP perceptions. -

Until you've been to Guys, yot don't know what proper treatment and care is. Kings is poor. -

Well you'd be utterly wrong then, so don't presume things about me. Glad you liked the shop but as quality goods/businesses there wasn't any, just generally stall type tat akin to the tat on NorthX . Don't get confused with 'nice' stall holders and decent goods/services. Barber will probably turn it into a school now anyway as part of his 10yr ED domination plan. And no, I don't want that either. Or a chain.

Rumour has it the ground has been sold to Langly Homes.

I hope something worthwhile replaces the warehouse. However I won't miss it as was full of tat IMO, more like a jumble sale, more suited to Peckham in an arch.
-
Jens asked Martin to help him commit suicide as Martin had got to him. Martin let Jens poison himself and disposed of the tainted coffee cup. Manslaugter not murder. Saga will destroy the cup evidence and Martin will get off, and they will both have evaded the law, and carry on sleuthing. The next series will not include the ecoterrorist as he got away, unsolved, end of. Great prog.

former East Dulwich councillor - how can I help?

Oh yeah, like the council (if it was them and not tfl), didn't plan the work weeks if not months in advance and it was just coincidence. Get real. -
Need to notify building control as knocking down may affect weights/loading on other parts of structure that could be dangerous.
