Yes Steveo far far quicker way (assuming you're in/near ED itself, but longer in distance) Nunhead Lane all the way to OKR left/right along by Millwall F.C. going towards Surrey Quays then Rotherhithe Tunnel then left/right and through Limehouse Link Tunnel onto A13 onto North Circular Road straight onto M11. Normally only bit of queueing traffic (at lights) between tunnels.

Steveo Check out the Holt -to- Sheringham steam railway. Lovely scenery. Filmed a lot of Dad's Army there. Holt Station is a bit out from the town centre nice walk to it though or parking for your car at reasonable tariff.
