Don't you just love transfer deadline day? Plenty of business being done. Sad to see Rafa go back to Hamburg but as good as he was he did lack pace. My favourite memory of him was scoring against Le Arse and blowing kisses to their fans followed by nutmegging Jack Wiltshire not once but twice. Good to see Berbatov get a move to Fulham. If he gets plenty of time on the pitch he'll score goals. As for Michael Owen, I think he's just happy to warm his well paid arse on a bench these days. Sad because I'm sure if he's fit he could do a good job for someone.

Rodgers was Spurs first choice to replace Harry and had apparently agreed a contract with Spurs when Liverpool came in and off he went. Capello was second choice but proved to be too expensive. Enter AVB. The jury's out but it's early days for all the new managers in the Premiership.

Aaaah! Back to inner-city bitchiness. I may be a Spud but I also think Woolwich Wanderers will do well this season though it pains me to say so if not cup success then they will certainly once again finish in the top three. Other than that I certainly will not be making any predictions this early apart from West Ham will stay up and finish mid-table, only a few points below Spurs. It's good to have the Irons back and some regular ribbing from Quids et al. I can't wait for MOTD tomorrow night.

Spurs were going to knock the OS down and build a new one as the pitch is too far from the stands it wouldn't work as a football stadium.

Well, I'm still waiting for Spurs to sign a few strikers let alone one. Apart from the youngster Harry Kane we've only got Jermain Defoe as our only recognised striker on the books. I am not optimistic at all about our chances of winning anything this year. I'm not convinced about AVB and I think we're in for a very tough start to the season whether we make some big signings or not.
