  1. All still here dbboy or would you rather get rid?
  2. Oh FFS. Talk about flogging a dead horse. Queen - new album and musical. Puke! Actually, I think Puke! would be a very good and a very apt title.
  3. Hmmmm....I suspect you'll be getting some stick for that post in the morning Mac. But not from me I might add.
  4. Hmmm... I'll consider myself slapped Rosie.
  5. I believe Walthamstow dog track is being resurrected so, all is not lost. Ummm.... for me Hammersmith Palais and the East Dulwich Odeon cinema that stood on Grove Vale next to the school.
  6. Oi! You cunt! Who you calling a left wing liberal? Go bury your head in the sand you Daily Mail reading twat. You sound as bad the so-called journalist that wrote the article.
  7. Sorry, but I couldn't help myself.
  8. Old stuff. Heard him a long time ago. Even got a couple of his promo cassettes (yes that's how long ago it was) Get with the beat Baggy.
  9. OK so about a fiver was spent on the budget for the video but's that's all they could afford and not just because it's my mate who co-wrote it and is singing. It's a fecking tune and the last thing that the late great Martin Rushent produced before he very sadly and suddenly passed away recently. Go buy the CD or download it. I can thoroughly recommend the album too. Out now. Dirty Fingernails - Nitewreckage
  10. Hardly surprising coming from the Daily Heil but having read that I am seriously thinking of writing to the Press Complaints Commission. Absolutely bloody disgraceful.
  11. Oh that's so last Sunday's news.
  12. Yeah... we need another rebellious youthquake. Where's y/our latest spokesman for a generation? Where's your Dylan, Townsend, Jagger and Lydon when you need 'em. Where's an illegal all-night rave with repetitive beats and shit drugs I can get monged out gone too? Fuck it... let's all stay in and watch X-Factor on a loop forever until our minds are fried.
  13. The shock value's gone Brendan. Even nostalgia ain't what it used to be.
  14. *Bob* Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'd expect a technology-based innovation to > unexpectedly bring about something genuinely new > and different. > > As it happens, if you've got a spare $6000, you > can buy it already. But that's 24 years old *Bob*
  15. And over in Spain Cesc Fabregas has been accused by Freddie Kanoute with the same offence as Terry and Suarez. Kick it out.
  16. Heard you right first time *Bob*.
  17. Arf! It'd just be history repeating itself. The last time we had similar circumstances (recession, lack of jobs, no money) the punk scene exploded but that was 35 years ago. More musical rehashing if does. There's always room for expressing the times though.
  18. Sadly, you're all right Jack. I can't see it happening.
  19. And Marlon King, sacked at Wigan Athletic after being jailed for assaulting a woman in a nightclub.
  20. Never mind Ballotelli. David Silva - best player on the pitch by a country mile.
  21. Well, I 8-2 to admit it Red Devil but by jove you're right.
  22. The Housemartins - and thank fuck for that. Oh! Just read somewhere that Liam Gallagher would now be up for an Oasis reunion. Beady Eye, obviously not making the big bucks he expected. Jeez! Hasn't he got a boutique to run?
  23. Says a lot Wee Quinnie, seeing as Ganapati is in Peckham, doesn't say a lot for the restaurants in East Dulwich; which are, mostly run-of-the-mill.
  24. I think *Bob* has made a good point here. If Barcelona was down on the strip rather than at the other end of the Lane I'm sure it would be more popular. It would certainly be on a par with the other "crap restaurants" that are constantly full. Having said that, it's down the end of my street and I've not been in since January. I had a good night in there by the way but it's not a regular haunt of mine. As for 22 I've not been in there at all. I loved it when it was Bolands though and was a regular then.
  25. Thanks for the clip Mac. Naturally I watched part two as well. Luckily in our history we had Ossie Ardiles and Ricky Villa, two great Argentine players who weren't dirty cheating bastards. As for the song, well it's before my time. I've always heard Glory Glory Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane since I first started going there aged ten. Good result for us tonight as well. Some of our kids are coming on nicely. Rose, Livermore and particularly Carroll all put in good performances. COYS!
