  1. Hari Krishna temple.
  2. DJKillaQueen outed as a builder! Who'd a thunk it? I bow down to thee thy Queen. Is there no end to the list of things this versatile and talented woman can/can't do?
  3. What Hugenot and Moos said. Sorry, being lazy. Feck! I could murder a kebab.
  4. It'll be camera person next.
  5. Do they play Motown records in the Motown Caff?? Can you perchance groove to Stevie Wonder's My Cherie Amour whilst waiting for your skinny Latte Macchiato before boarding the train to Dullsville?
  6. I'm giggling like a schoolgirl Parkdrive. Your wit is beyond compare. Back to last night's game. Agreeing with you Undisputed Truth. No flare in the midfield. No one to pick out a pass. The sooner young Wilshire gets fit again the better but should we really be placing so much hope on a 19-year-old? Anyway, it's good that that particular 43-year hoodoo has gone. Still, two wins from two games, beating the World Champions and no goals conceded. It's hard to have much to complain about.
  7. You're obviously watching too much telly.

Saw just about all of those mentioned around that time when it was the Newlands Tavern. It is still a fantastic little venue to see live stuff and really is worth a visit.
  9. What! You're gonna have to look it up?
  10. My dad used to give up for lent every year. Not for any religious reasons. He wasn't a catholic and he was also an atheist - but just to prove to himself that he could do it.
  11. All too true but there is more than one way to skin a cat. Allowing for our deficiencies Capello got his tactics spot on. Not pretty to watch I'll admit but it got the result that we wanted. I thought there were some pluses in that some of the young players did well and got some very good experience under their belts. Rodwell and Welbeck in particular. And Scott Parker showed once again with his man of the match performance that the holding position should be his.
  12. So. England 1 Spain 0. Bet you didn't see that coming.
  13. Don't be silly. I can't see that happening. Well, not yet anyway. There's plenty mileage left in Harry yet and I reckon he'll be back in charge for the next game against Aston Villa on November 21st. Still this could make things go tits up for him if he's found guilty - Harry's up before the beak next year.
  14. Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful.
  15. OK fact fans. Did you know that Stevie Wonder wrote Superstition for Jeff Beck? He did. Oh yes pop pickers he did indeed but when Tamla Motown boss Berry Gordy heard what he'd recorded he told Stevie (I'm on first name terms dontcha know) that he wasn't to give the song away and it was going to be his next single. Jeff (I do so like being on first name terms with these music biz legends) recorded and released Superstition with his group Beck Bogart & Appice on the album of the same name and very good it is to but I don't like the bloke who sings on it. I just really dig the guitar maaaan.
  16. Is Christmas fair? Maybe for the haves but not for the have nots.
  17. One lives in hope.
  18. Sounds like fun. I wish they'd do that with a beautiful voluptuous young woman with bigs down the CPT. :)-D

  20. For a more political side of things start with Innervisions and in particular this track:-
  21. "Danny Kelly!" He's a Tottenham fan you know.
  22. I believe the story is that the man and his company who pushed for the England football team to wear poppies on their shirts has links to the far right and we can't be seen to be endorsing his company when he has links to fascists.

  24. Innervisions, Talking Book, Fulfullingness First Finale, Songs In The Key Of Life, My Cherie Amour and Uptight.
  25. "Explosions across our city?" I remember the blitz you know (seriously, I'm not that old). I do remember the IRA's campaign of bombing on our mainland though. I don't want to denigrate you for being a little wet behind the ears for you are obviously quite young but do take a look at recent history though it may not be so recent to you but we have been here before and suffered greatly for it.
