Speaking as someone who has been a regular at the Dog for over 40 years and watched the service get poorer with each passing year I couldn't agree more with Louisa's post. Don't accept poor service, poor food and drink. Complain, complain complain and vote with your feet and go elsewhere. It is the only way it will get better. I'd also suggest making a complaint to Dulwich Estates too. They have a lot to answer for. Perhaps when M&B's contract next comes up for renewal they might just hand it to someone else. The Dog has all the potential for it to be an award winning destination pub if it is in the right hands. These days I prefer to take my custom elsewhere. I cannot abide poor service. There is no excuse for it if you're running a business.

Oops! I completely forget...Demarai Gray. I'd really like to see him at Spurs next season. Definitely fits the profile for our club. A talented young English player. Skilful and with bags of pace, and pace is a little something we're missing at the moment in our side. Probably cost a lot more than he would have at the beginning of last season but a terrific young talent in the making and improving all the time. Scored a terrific goal tonight for the Under-21s.

I'm really not surprised by the poor service. It's been shoddy service in there for 35 years and nothing has changed. What did you expect, it's run by Mitchell & Butlers. Again this doesn't reflect well on the rapacious landlords Dulwich Estates. They couldn't run a piss up in a brewery. It's such a shame because it is a lovely spot to sit out front in the summer months. I didn't think it could get any worse but it obviously has. West End prices for a Dog's dinner.

Upstairs was converted into a hotel. I'll nip down there for a snifter or two once all the fuss is over the re-opening. Probably a weekday afternoon out front in the sun. It's been a regular haunt of mine since I was a teenager so I'll definitely be giving it a go.

I like the look of the some the young Ajax players that did so well in Europe last season. Klaasen would be a steal in midfield. I'd certainly like a little more creativity in midfield to challenge Ericksen and another centre-forward though Dembele from Celtic would be nice I reckon he's headed elsewhere. I also think Spurs need that one player that's been there and done it in Europe with that extra bit of experience that we need. Not sure who yet, someone that all the players would be able to look up to and be inspired by... so not John Terry then. ;-)

I didn't bother watching the FA Cup final as: - 1. I dislike both clubs in equal measure. 2. I was pissed and couldn't be arsed to watch it as I was having too much fun. Totally agree with you on Huddersfield Town's promotion.

We scored the most goals and had the meanest defence, three players scoring 20+ goals. Harry winning the Golden Boot again... I could go on but it's pointless. It's done and dusted. I am very proud of our young team and the continued improvement we have shown over the past few seasons. Onwards and upwards.
