  1. *Cheers Keef and a smoke would be marvellous* *Chilli Peppers..cool* *Smashing Pumpkins...oooh not so sure. Saw 'em at Brixton in '93 and thought they were bloody awful* *Hmmm...nice weed* *Gonna see the Stones tonight* *Best seats in the house, blagged from big knob at EMI* *If I get to meet Keef and Ronnie will probably die and go to heaven* *Do you think Mockers is all right? Looks a bit funny to me* *Slurp slurp, toke toke* *May need something in the upwardly direction*
  2. Thanks for the link Keef...it's only slightly assuaged my fears. I suppose if he's still there on Sunday and we stuff Man Utd and follow that up with a win against the Scum the week after he'll have the job...oooh at least until the beginning of next season. Hmmm Bellamy...lovely bloke, nice to his mum etc etc.
  3. *Raises head above the parapet* *Sees Keef enjoying bottle of Jack* *Wants one too. Yeah! rock n' roll medicine* Oh! look Reading Festival outside the Quiet Room* *Let's make some noise* *Err...who's on this year anyway maaan?*
  4. Ahem!
  5. A baby shouldn't be in a pub after 7pm and if that's the law then I fully agree with it. By that time the parents should be getting the child ready for bed, not pissing it up in the pub with their mates.
  6. What the buggery f**k is going on at White Hart Lane? I can't believe the board are seriously contemplating getting rid of Martin Jol after giving him ?40 million to spend and we're only three games into the season. It's absolutely ridiculous. He's an excellent coach who, if what I'm hearing is true, could be out of a job by the end of the week and replaced by Seville's Juande Ramos. Have the board forgotten the excellent progress he has been making over the last couple of seasons? And the fact we have had so many injuries to key players hasn't helped his cause either. Words fail me. If he goes and I sincerely hope he doesn't, you can bet your bollocks he'll be very successful somewhere else.
  7. Excellent. I'll look forward to it.
  8. *dread word "training". *Didn't enjoy it much when I was young and naturally athletic* *Would be loathe to start again now* *probably have a heart attack if I did*
  9. *wakes from slumbers* *overhears conversation* *drinking? what drinking?* *oh! preserved in alcohol* *it would make perfect sense to me as I've been pickled for years and been told I look pretty good for a man of my years* *But I think DM's a natural and MP was just being bitchy*
  10. Who was forever propping up the bar
  11. Hmm...post at the same time, which one do you want to go with MW74?
  12. She'd rather be acting or even chiropracting than anything to do with the law
  13. So it really can't be all that bad.
  14. I haven't been to see them since I was a kid but if anyone on here fancies meeting up one Saturday to watch a match there and support our local team I'd certainly give it some consideration. Mind you the colour and style of their kit is a lot to be desired.
  15. but the season is long
  16. Oooh I understand that perfectly Brendan, the little boy lost look always worked for me and I'm very quick over the first ten yards.
  17. Also, there's the description of a young man/boy homosexual who gets regularly buggered by an older man being a "young chicken."
  18. Monogyny is not a natural state for man. We're the only mammal that is. Variety is the spice of life. Not a popular opinion here I expect, but that's why those eyes stray.
  19. Gary Oldman for me. One south London boy to play another and he does bare some resemblence to me although obviously I'm far more handsome even if I say so myself.
  20. Another Lehman clanger...what a beaut. Spurs hammer a toothless Derby County 4-0, Man U lose to City, Torres opens his account with fabulous goal for Liverpool, some terrible refeering decisions in the same match, Newcastle still can't score at home, Terry Sheringham still scoring goals for Colchester at 41, Leeds United making steady progress and is it time for video evidence on the goal lines after yet another "goal" disallowed at Fulham.
  21. There once was a limerick teacher Who could be a bit of preacher no offence but common sense is one of her best features
  22. LOL..>:D
  23. Well...if you got out more and met more people you could mass-debate. Oh sorry, I couldn't help that one. Please ignore me. I'm going down the pub.
  24. You should get out more Declan.
  25. OK I'm up for these, we've got the whens now all we need is the wheres. Where's the birthday bash going to be? and where's the next forum jolly-up going to be? Plenty of time to work this out though.
