NO! They do the best steaks in ED in there. Steak au pouvre - yum yum. Used to go in there a lot when it was Franny's Wine Bar. -

Call me a fashion victim but I bought a pair last year and James you are so right, they are hideous and they make your feet sweat. Now clogs they really are something else and so 70s! Even that poodle-haired twit from Queen still wears those. Yuk!

I usually watch the footy in the Mag or the EDT and on some occasions the CPT and I think it's great that more of the ladies are getting into our glorious game. My niece is Liverpool daft and I myself (sorry to disappoint the Lady Gooners on this thread) am a life long supporter of Tottenham Hotspur. Yeah! "Come on you Spurs">:D

I'm down in the wilds of Kent this weekend and this morning I have the mother of all hangovers after a heavy session with the good ladies of Benenden. Unfortunately I'm on lawn mowing duty in a minute, then I'm getting my kit off and hopefully get a bit of a suntan. Ooooh! Am dreading the thought going back to the office on Monday. Work is the curse of the drinking classes. Have a great weekend everyone.

Nothing personal blinder999 and sorry if you were offended. Just found it a bit odd that you lived across the road from a pub for three years and never ventured inside. I used to pop in there very infrequently on an evening and found the people in there very friendly and I always had a good time but I don't think even I've set foot in there for about three or four years.

Indeed the EDD was a cafe and I think the record shop was where Ralon is now if my memory serves me well. Yeah! a Rough Trade or an Honest Jon's would do me thanks. -

I seem to recall that the HSBC next to Barclays on Lordship Lane WAS a NatWest until it was taken over a few years back.

There used to be a great little record shop a couple doors up from the EDT. Could do with one of those now!!!!
