  1. Florence Welch. A shrieking charisma vacuum with a voice that sounds like fingernails scraping down a blackboard. What sort of tone deaf idiot buys her stuff?
  2. Jeremy Wrote: Despite the fact that he started his career as a second rate Hendrix rip-off and had a hit with a Bob Marley cover. Ha ha ha.. ignorance is bliss eh Jeremy.
  3. My thoughts are with Jimmy Greaves today. Get well soon. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32580282
  4. My heart says Pacquiao by knockout but my head says Mayweather on points. Pacquiao has been in too many wars but he could get lucky early doors with his hand speed but Mayweather's defence is so good I can't really see it happening, as much as I'd like it to.
  5. Pub bores. Especially those who only go to the pub for a Sunday roast or a pub quiz.
  6. South London's number one.
  7. Currently grooving to Misty Miller's latest release. Was lucky enough to catch her play a short acoustic set last night at the Easycome in Peckham. Really looking forward to the new album. She has a fabulous voice.
  8. One is never enough and two is two too many.
  9. They did. I saw 'em there.
  10. Definitely a local no no.
  11. Christian Eriksen - 12 goals Nacer Chadli - 12. Raheem Stirling -11. One of these players is after 140 grand a week, is apparently worth ?60m and is Liverpool's top scorer...
  12. Happily so. Thank you.
  13. A skint bugger.
  14. Conference South.
  15. I tried to change my direct debit payment date on Vodafone recently. They must be the only company that won't let you pay on the 1st of the month when most people get paid. The two dates nearest they offered were the 27th and the 7th. Not good enough. Seriously thinking of switching to another company.
  16. It's been postponed due to some sort of appeal from Enfield. http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/dulwichhamlet/news/margate-game-postponed-1421462.html
  17. Work is the curse of the drinking classes. Go to the pub. Any pub. Take a book. They can be a bit quiet during the day in the week. The weather is lovely so you can sit outside with your drink in the sun. You might even make new friends.
  18. My parents moved to West Norwood in '76. I hated it. When we moved there my dad and I did a pub crawl. Jack Stamps was then the Thurlow Arms. I saw Wreckless Eric do a cracking gig there in 1980. The Hope I have to say was probably the only decent boozer around in those days, though The Horns was ok ish. The rest of 'em were all hell holes. As soon as I could afford to leave home and move back to Dulwich I did.
  19. I largely agree with you rahahrah. But Champagne & Fromage was/is poncification tip over point for me. It's also down to British Rail who have hiked up the rent increases on the local businesses under the arches.
  20. Brixton Village? I still think of it as Granville Arcade but that's obviously not a cool enough name for a place that houses such pretentious shite as Champagne & Fromage alongside the older establishments. http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/society/guardian-backs-campaign-to-reclaim-brixton-from-guardian-readers-2015042797754
  21. Oh lordy lordy. They're gay in real life too. Oh Tarot, look away now. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3055302/Gemma-Merna-Jennifer-Metcalfe-join-fellow-friends-Hollyoaks-stars-bridesmaids-Kieron-Richardson-Carl-Hyland-pair-tie-knot-Devon.html?ito=social-facebook
  22. The play-off against Margate is an all-ticket affair. http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/dulwichhamlet/news/arrangements-for-margate-play-off-game--all-ticket-1419638.html
