  1. Dear Dulwich Estates, you're a fecking disgrace. Hurry up and get this place up and running again. We need a pub up this end of Lordship Lane.
  2. What with the injuries and withdrawals I can see England playing 4-4-1-1 on Tuesday with Rooney playing behind Kane. That would suit both of them. Though I fancy Hodgson had that in mind anyway.
  3. I think Hodgson got it spot on to show loyalty to the players who've already done a good job for you, i.e Wellbeck, who not only scored but put in a man of the match performance, get the result and then introduce him. Didn't take him long to score and impress did it? That may not have been the case if he'd come on from the start. He'll be more than ready to face the Italians on Tuesday now.
  4. It doesn't matter where you are. Happiness is a state of mind.
  5. Eight balls.
  6. I went there at the same age and loads of kids go there now. They are more than welcome. You'll love it and you'll never be bothered about going to Upton Park again when you can go to somewhere more friendly and affordable at Champion Hill. The football is pretty damned good too.
  7. Well that's blown my generous Spurs story to shreds.
  8. Personally, I'd have done it first time round but glad you did eventually get around to it. Others wouldn't have, and obviously didn't have the balls to do so. Well done.
  9. More handbags than a WI meeting. Play nicely you two.
  10. More of this sort of thing please. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/tottenham-charter-plane-for-supporters-traveling-to-newcastle-for-just-251-return-10119738.html It's about time rich Premiership clubs did more to help their supporters.
  11. 2-2 seems to be popular. It's what I've gone for as well.
  12. It's true. Taken as a slave by Irish pirates at 16. He was Welsh. You couldn't make it up.
  13. Downloaded the new EP yesterday and it is superb.
  14. Advocaat in at Sunderland. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31919801
  15. There are very good reasons why Man Utd looked good against Spurs. Spurs didn't turn up. We were shit from start to finish. It was by far our poorest display since they lost 0-3 at home to West Ham last season. Spurs have played 13 games more than United. Maybe it has finally taken it's toll on tired legs. The return of Mata and Carrick gave a much better balance to the team with Blind slotting in at left back and with Rooney playing up front he nearly always scores against Spurs. Angel Di Maria wasn't playing because of his ban. He'll find it hard to get back in now. He's been hugely disappointing and certainly not worth his place in the side. Utd should play an unchanged side against Liverpool at the weekend. Should be a corker of a match and I'm looking forward to watching it.
  16. You mean correct outcomes RD, not results. I've got more of those than anyone else and look where it's has got me. A few more correct results and I'd be right up there. Nevertheless, good work PD.
  17. My form has hit an all time low in the Premiership. Only three points over the weekend. I'm as poor as Spurs were at Man Utd on Sunday.
  18. Rock stars dancing like your dad.
  19. Poyet sacked as manager of Sunderland. Not surprise there then. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31902933
  20. Yeah, Ganapati's in Peckham innit.
  21. I've never been to a Nandos and on the two occasions I've been into GBK I thought it was crap.
