I wouldn't say you were miles better. I thought a draw was a fair result. Take heart though, you played very well and are a much better side without Carroll and Nolan in the starting Xl. Reid, Cresswell and Noble were all excellent today though Noble was a bit lucky not to have got sent off for a second bookable offence. One thing is puzzling me though... Lamela is just not doing it for me. He needs to improve 100-per-cent. Out of all our substitutions today he more than anyone needed to go off. Though I must say Demb?l? was also rubbish today and was rightly substituted at half-time.
Hmmm... sounds like Andy Alan who runs the Easycome nights at the White Horse in Peckham. He's permanently attired in cowboy boots and a big Stetson hat.
I've to say. That must have been an amazing match to have attended. You'll never forget that one and more than worth the price of the trip alone. I'll never forget the night Gareth Bale tore Maicon a new one at White Hart Lane when Spurs beat Inter Milan 3-1. The atmosphere was electric that night.
Not me. Parkdrive went to Peckham Manor School and I think you'll find there is a thread about it lurking somewhere in The Lounge. I went to Tulse Hill. We had Muhammed Ali come and visit us in '74. Unfortunately, I missed it as I'd already walked out telling the headmaster he could shove his school up his arse. I never went back.
So it's back to the UEFA Cup this week. I wonder if the surge of good form that Liverpool and Spurs have experienced in the league since the break from playing on Thursday and Sunday will now take a nosedive to the regular poor results they were getting on Sundays before Christmas. Losing at home to West Ham on Sunday is just the sort of result I'd expect from a resurgent Spurs now we're back to the midweek UEFA Cup fixtures. Of course I am praying and have my fingers and toes crossed it doesn't happen but it would be typical Tottenham to ruin all that good work we've enjoyed over the past couple of months with a crap result at the weekend. And that's assuming we beat Fiorentina tonight. And we need to get a very good result against Fiorentina because the second leg is three days before our Cup final against Chelski in the League Cup final. So it would be nice if we could rest a few players for that second leg so we can confidently play our strongest team for the final.
No. No. No. No. Sorry but I hated it. It was dull and very very tedious. When starting a blog how about learning to write first. Remember that punctuation and spelling are also very important too. Also, try a subject that hasn't already been done to death. Hope that helps. x
Our very own Queen of Hipsterdom has spoken. All bow down to her superior knowledge, her sartorial whimsy and cooler than thou personality. You have been told. Now shut the fcuk up. End of thread.
I still find it very hard to believe PSG paid ?50 million for David Luiz. He's crap. I can't see PSG winning tonight. I fancy Chelsea to sneak it by the odd goal or two. Bayern Munich should also win tonight. Shaktar Donesk's stadium is in the middle of a war zone and so having to play 600 miles away from home can't be easy for them and Bayern are a class act who've just had their biggest win in the Bunderliga for a couple of decades and are in top form.
