  1. Hmmm.... I wonder what the percentage of women wanting to have a natural childbirth is who soon start screaming for an epidural once the contractions start?
  2. Two g's in aggressive.
  3. Who in their right mind would want to go shopping at Bluewater? I've only ever been once and it was an absolute fecking nightmare. Never again. It's a vile, shopping carbuncle in the middle of Kent.

  5. Do you mean Ken's Fish Bar on Half Moon Lane, Keekybreeks? That is a superb old school fish and chip shop.
  6. I've not been in there for four or five years now. I quite liked it then, especially for the red snapper. I liked the fact you could order your chish n fips with a bottle of wine to wash it down with. I'd heard their standards had dropped slightly. Never had a takeaway from there. I'd prefer an old chippie for that. Now you've mentioned it though I might just try it again soon.
  7. if it's an old school caf? you're looking for Otta, you can't beat the Uplands caf? (formerly the Ideal Caf?) locally. Anyway, back on subject - what gets my goat is people changing their forum names and then trying to work out who they were in a former guise.
  8. Yep, The Moon And Stars is excellent. I can't tell how overjoyed I was to be supping a fabulous local ale at ?2.25 a pint. I thought I'd been transported back to the 80s. So overjoyed I had several more. Marvellous. More of this kind of thing please.
  9. Getting home and then realising you've forgotten your fags.

  11. Cheap shots. That's what all the jealous fuckers say. Harry's ours for now and long may that continue. As for Andros. I never said it. The press did. I've been moaning about him for a while now. All those step-overs and no end product. If you really want to have a go and have a laugh take a look at Soldado's appalling miss from last night. Not only should he have scored himself but the pass to Chadli also misses. Just the most appalling cock-up I've seen in a very long time. The jury's in about Roberto now and he's had so many chances that I've had enough. He really isn't worth the stupid amount of money we paid for him. He's got to go in the summer along with Franco Baldini who spent the money on him.
  12. Fingers crossed.
  13. I'm not being snobbish about it. I'd love to win the damned thing but it is probably the most difficult to win. Far too many games and I know we've probably had this conversation before but when you've been in the Europa League several seasons in a row, you'll understand that it starts to become detrimental to your league campaign and it becomes very hard to manage when you are playing every two or three days as has been the case this week. Three games in six days. Also, it's not all about fourth, it's about glory and winning trophies and hopefully winning them with a bit of panache.
  14. I went to the friendly on Tuesday, which was free to get in. We won 4-2 and it was a chance to see some up and coming youngsters and one or two fringe players. No 11 and 15 were the stand-outs for me. A skilful, pacey left winger and a cultured midfielder with an eye for a pass. That and being able to easily get a drink at the bar as there was only about 50 people there.
  15. Nope. Me neither. Glad to be out of it. Too many games. Just hope we can beat Chelski at the weekend because it would be nice to have some silverware, any silverware would be very welcome right now. COYS!

If you want to avoid the dreaded pancreatitis or acute liver failure I'd suggest plenty of water. Sparkling for me with ice and slice. Remember folks drink responsibly. Cheers!
  17. Crazy schedule for Spurs and Liverpool. Three games in six days.

    Da Brits

I've not been able to bring myself watch it for years. A big wigs shindig featuring a complete load of old arse.
  19. Burgundy for lunch, claret for dinner.
  20. Yep, it's not the winning it's the qualifying that counts isn't it Lady G. You'll bag that fourth spot again, no doubt about it. I've a horrible feeling you'll win the FA Cup though. In fact, I've already tipped Le Arse to do so on these very pages.
  21. Oh dear.
  22. Mr Ben Nouveau football fan.
  23. My BT speed test was 79.8mb. I'd have a word if I were you Dulwich Fox.
