  1. I think I should add that when it happened to me I thought it was probably kids firing from a house window or from the cemetery, though I couldn't be sure. I don't remember seeing a white van either.
  2. How about this for a goal? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30284831
  3. OK. That's one reasonably priced pint. Most of the rest are overpriced in my opinion.
  4. All pretty much spot on Mr Ben. You're right about The Flying Pig. For me it is far too expensive. I'd only go back there if they were to lower their prices considerably.

Yeah, probably. I saw Eddie Izzard, Al Murray and Jo Brand up above the EDT back in the 90s.
  6. I think I may have been shot around the same area a few weeks ago. Was on Wood Vale by the shops. I looked around but couldn't see anyone. Was a bit disconcerting at the time but soon forgot about it until now.
  7. CPT with the phone booth outside. Before the outside seating too. The music is by Joe Loss & his Orchestra. Don't know what the track's called.
  8. Before the gentrification.
  9. We'll kidnap you next time, Otta.

  11. Yes. I would have thought so.

More imported crap from America. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/10417522_1549716431941431_2870158664937507915_n_zpsd4efd7bd.jpg
  13. Non-specific gender club?
  14. Did Les teach you?
  15. Deptford's going the same way as Hackney. The same sort of thing is happening in New York's East Village and similar neighbourhoods. Gentrification's not just a Londoncentric thing. Yuppies out!
  16. You may have a point there Jezza. I met a nice young girl in Peckham last week who's lived all her life in Hackney, currently living in Greenwich coz she can't afford to live in Hackney anymore. I thought, Hackney! I used to play football over there. Was always such a dump. How times change. It's been taken over by affluent yuppies.
  17. P68, that's a dry cleaners not a laundrette and it's still Lordship Lane up to Wood Vale.

I reckon you've paid the normal price and they've forgotten to give you the half price deal.
  19. But they're much higher up the table than you. Anyway, I'll let it lie. Aquero is so good he reminds me of my boyhood hero Jimmy Greaves. That's how highly I rate him.
  20. Hmm... Let's try again. Where would you be without Alexis Sanchez?
  21. Agreed he's a fantastic player. Where do you stand on this Wenger out nonsense?
