Not Commoli but the equally useless and overpaid Director of Football Franco Baldini went out and bought all those players that AVB didn't want and Poch didn't want. Levy likes a Director of Football. Harry Redknapp wouldn't work with one. We have gone seriously downhill since he left. When a manager goes to Baldini and Levy and say he wants such and such a player they basically say "you can't have him but you can him instead," then the manager's hands are tied and he can't build a team of his own making. As for Adebayor complaining about some of the fans response when they play at home, well he can fuck right off. I'd be very pissed off if I was one of those Liverpool players on the bench though. As a top player you want to play in the big games and it doesn't get much bigger than Real Madrid. As for Arsenal. They should spend some money in January. Sanchez is a little gem of a player but he can't do it all on his own. PD is right about the type of players they need. They'll finish in the top four again at the end of the season, no doubt about it. They always do.
