I think the new tack taken by the councillors (expressed in an email to me by one of them) is that they can?t take out the LTN?s even if they wanted to because central govt would fine them. govt made them put them in, it?s not our fault etc. Tbh I think the money they have raked in would more thank cover any financial punishments

I think Ulez is quite different to any other recording - there is no manpower to check for infringement even if you have the time and date. So frustrating- we had a personal car crime and i suggested to the police that I would personally sit thru any cctv to save them the trouble (I am dbs checked) and they told me there is no recording available.

Yup have challenged 35 pcns -all incurred before we received notice of the offence (6-8 weeks before receiving) some have been written off and so me taken to the next level? fingers crossed but not banking on anything. Funny how done were accepted and done not - all challenged on the same basis.

So she?s saying they weren?t going to take any notice anyway? So why the **** was all that money spent on a consultation?? There should be a vote of no confidence in this lot if it was possible?

They have spent god knows how much and taken weeks to do bugger all. Could they not have just painted black and white lines to create a crossing zebra crossing. Utter waste of our time and money by the current idiot incumbents

We had a similar thing some weeks ago - h was wearing a hat and a mask so hard to describe. He took a parcel from our doorstep and left and empty box with a hill court road address.

It?s over ?1000 as they appealed on the basis of unclear signage and massive delays in receiving notice of wrongdoing- and of course the fines escalated whilst being appealed

What frustrates me is that the signage is not very prominent and the gap between the infringement and the issuing of the penalty- a small local business that works in the area (dulwich village in particular) managed to incur around 25 pcns before realising their mistake - a gap of 5-8 weeks before the first fines dropped thru the letterbox.

I would like to add that if anyone else has a similar experience there or feels threatened at any time please go into the Herne (when open) where the staff can keep you safe and contact who you need to. Edited to say pretty sure this applies to any local businesses- I remember Emily?s fish bar helped in a similar situation.

I am so disappointed in our council - they have presided over the most astonishingly decisive policy which has created anger and disbelief- the principal aim is good but the implementation a total f***k up. I am a good weather cyclist working for a lot of different small businesses- this is having a desperate negative impact on small local businesses- if there was some sort of permit based thing which allowed businesses with a proven record of operating in the ?zone? and stopped needless journeys?
