    There has been what sounds like a larger type of dog barking for a couple of hours now - in the stretch near the church. Anyone else bothered by it? It?s driving me bonkers

    I have been stuck in the dulwich jam with no sign of drop off or deliveries causing the snarl up. It is the queue of cars waiting to turn right at the junction. I love the way that people who live on the area are not supposed to get taxis or ubers any more...

    Just wondering what people do with their shredded paper? I don't want to put loose in the recycling bins as there is a good chance is will blow everwhere when the bins are emptied, however putting it into black bags probably is not ok as these muck up the recycling process any ideas very welcome there is too much to put on the compost heap!

    I was categorically told by southwark council AND the police that there is no CCTV in east dulwich - the cameras you may see are TFL ones for the monitoring of traffic flow but these are not recorded in that they can be accessed after an event. I was tryng to track a stolen car and was unable to find ANY cameras recording. apparently there are routes thru london that are not tracked so are known as preferred routes for a clean getaway.

    I find the finger pointing at one dulwich rather strange. Just because they are clear in their opposition to these new measures doesn't make them automatically responsible - and lets face it, the people involved are really unlikely to be resorting to this sort of tactic. Their radical tactics are along the lines of 'expensively produced' flyers. :)

    I have walked up there a couple of evenings (with the dog) and both times it all seemed very quiet and chilled. This was at dusk - does it all kick off later? just a lovely place to sit and look at the view.

    Yes I had that too when cycling thru the junction - was given the green cycle light which clashed with the pedestrian green man

    Where shouts on upland- it?s a very long road!

    I think that mAy be because the snarled up traffic is then turning left to go into east dulwich as this is the route that has been blocked

    With regard to cctv you are not allowed to film the pavement - for example Lloyd?s bank are not allowed to film the comings and goings outside the bank - data protection or something. It?s very frustrating that people committing these blatant crimes know there is no footage - ( tfl operate the camera lens for traffic which have no problem in recording minor traffic infringements) It really is infuriating that so many people are having their bikes stolen.
