  1. I assumed this thread was about fox when I read the title!!! God I bet billy piper is wondering if he was this daft when they were an item! 😂
  2. Hope the businesses on Melbourne grove are included and listened to.
  3. Alleyn park garden centre - taking orders and will deliver
  4. Omg !! What lies
  5. Item returned
  6. .so this means the business?s are once again penalised?
  7. Tbh I am really concerned about the survival of local businesses- those in Melbourne grove have basically been shat on (sorry) but I understand the village has also been hit. I am not some business or nothing nutter but I really feel there could be a useful and purposeful dialogue about the general aims and the realistic implementations. This needs a joint effort and right now their is absolutely no partnership
  8. Hmm love the fact that east dulwich is bearing the brunt of pollution whilst dulwich is apparently fume free - would love to hear what the schools and businesses think of the gridlock that is the main road thru actually feel about it.
  9. The silence is deafening......
  10. Well said exdulwicher. Khan does not want the extension to north and south circulars and he was not responsible for the tfl deficit. He was reducing it and then no one was travelling due to Covid. I understand Johnson has now actually retracted this lie but of course no everyone knows this.
  11. The problem is compounded by the current situation- we are reluctant to use public transport at present due to health risks - but also as most buses are not moving due to gridlock caused by planters.
  12. Also can hey have removed several customer parking spaces in Melbourne Grove
  13. Good article in Southwark news about the impact on businesses - it?s a real concern that independent businesses may go to the walL due to the council?s inability to engage or anticipate the results of their actions. They seem to be Utterly myopic where everyone eLse can spot the bloody obvious.
  14. And destroy a load of small businesses
  15. I?m surprised the residents in dulwich village are not contacting the council - if I had that traffic jam and associated increased levels of pollution- I?d be a bit cheesed off Also to add that apparently the businesses have had a distinct downturn in business
  16. It took me 25 minutes to get from the primary school to the whately road traffic lights today. I could actually smell the fumes - pity the cyclists having to weave around the jams plus the walkers on the pavements. I really cannot fathom where they think the cars are going to go. Public transport is not popular due to covid, but also these traffic jams make it ineffective. Alot of the vehicles are work type vans (yes lots of cars too) would love to know what the pollution readings are at the moment - I suspect these will be well and truly buried.
  17. seems a bit strange - who are the landladies going to get in there instead who are able to pay rent given current climate
  18. that's a real shame.
  19. On EE in east dulwich and no problems at all?
  20. -- moved topic --
  21. Apologies - when I posted earlier all the threads seemed locked - I can see that there are still 2 that are not.
