It would be disastrous to eliminate the wrong person, I agree.
  2. BBC: "Saudi executioner tells all" Beshi says his job does not spoil his social life . Saudi Arabia's leading executioner says he is "very proud to do God's work" and does not lose sleep over beheading several people in one day.
  3. Keef Wrote: Would you look at the person in the eye, what ever they'd done, and end their life? Even Albert Pierpoint ended up being against capital punishment. I could not do it, personally as I haven't got the temperament. The main Saudi Executioner inherited the role from his Father and gets his Son to keep the sword in razor-sharp condition. It does not affect him at all, as he believes he is doing his duty by The Grace Of God.
  4. Mick Mac Wrote: If I were them I'd pursue a change of leader now.... Do you mind keeping your views to yourself Michael, my boy. Some of us have just backed Gordon Brown on Betfair at 130/1...to be the Leader of The Labour Party at the next Election..:)-D
  5. Sorry to hear that Wolfie. I do believe though, that if there is absolutely no doubt that Bombers, for example, who have deliberately tergeted their victims have lost and forfeited all their rights to exist. At the very least, they would not be able to cause any more deaths.
  6. Apart from witnessing Guys charging down Peckham High Street with Baseball Bats 2/3 years ago and seeing something (fairly) similar in Clayton Road and seeing 2 totally seperate incidents in Melon Road (r.i.p) near The Junction of Rye Lane/High Street involving mobs with bricks targeting the Police its been pretty uneventful. Anyway "crime happens everywhere"--I heard , for example, that 2 Rabbits were stolen, recently, in The Outer London Suburb where I live so that prooves it, innit..B)
  7. A thoroughly enjoyable 20 minutes. Love him or hate him, Mandy is a great asset to The Labour Party.
  8. Atila Reincarnate Wrote: I see the word revenge being tossed around as if revenge against such barbric and heinous crimes should never be considered. Well I tell you what if I was unforunate enough to be in the shoes of the parents of the students butchered by those evil bastards, I'd want them to suffer EXACTLY the same fate inflicted upon their victims. Yes it's revenge yes it's tit for tat yes it's an eye for an eye and I've no problem with that at all. I'm F**king sick and tired of all the naval gazing that goes on today, we hear so often about the pontification of the liberal bleeding hearts who bang on about the rights of the criminal and F**K the victim, ENOUGH, ENOUGH, ENOUGH. I ain't no F**KING christian, nor do I believe in any other doctrine, but I certainly ain't prepared to turn the other F**KING cheek. Now to all of you who are anti capital punishemnt accept there are more & more people who want it brought back and the numbers are growing. IF THIS MAKES UNCOMRTABLE READING TOO F**KING BAD. Kill the c**ts and have done with them, pieces of garbage that they are. Absolutely. There can't be many 40+ somethings who have lived thru' Decades and witnessed the decline of our standards and wonderful Society who would not agree with you. Most certainly (almost) everyone who lives in a Community, where these Human pieces of filth reside, would endorse your views Atila. These Guys need to be taken out of Society for ever by whatever means necessary. I like BBW's idea of a living tomb but would prefer that after the perpetrators got stabbed 200 themselves and, somehow, survived. "I make no apology for my views"..... Nor should you ever be defensive or apologetic about having them. Quite frequently those of a more "liberal" persuasion in their 20's/30's have finally had enough by the time they get older and come around more to our way of thinking.
  9. My friend has just told me that she had her home on the Surrey/Hants Borders trashed. Nothing was taken but it was wrecked by a 16-year-old who lives in the next road, apparently. He used a baseball bat to let rip. He has just received a "Reprimand"..thats it. Bet that makes him think twice, in future, eh?
  10. Debris found in The Atlantic may not have come from The Air France jet. Thought that was as relevant as anything else on this thread as I haven't a scooby-doo what its about...
  11. Sherwick Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Didn't someone once say something along the lines > of "there is no society"? A Former resident of Dulwich, by any chance? p.s. I've been reading about Saudi Beheadings. Apparently the role of a Public Executioner is passed through the Generations from Father to Son. These Guys take great pride in performing their Duty and need a fairly constant supply of victims to ensure they do not lose their touch. When Mary Queen Of Scots was beheaded in The Tower Of London the appointed Executioner needed 3 attempts to finally do the job as he was out of practice....::o These Saudi Guys are Professionals and even get their children to clean their Sword and keep it razor sharp.
  12. ???? Wrote: Can I be the First to wish *Bob* a Happy Birthday this morning...the years fly by *calculates *Bob* is 134 scratches head* Seconded. I was just thinking that "Bob" must have a Birthday again soon.
  13. bigbadwolf Wrote: I'm sure for the right price Tony you can have any 'maid' to order. Reminds me of the Guy who takes a new Ladyfriend back to his flat for the first time. "Would you sleep with me for a Million Pounds" "Yes, I suppose I would" she replied. "Would you sleep with me for ?1" "No! Certainly not! What do you think I am" "We've established what you are, we are just trying to negotiate a price!"......
  14. "You know the atrocities that you have committed. Your attitude and apparent lack of remorse shows us that you have no conscience at all."........ This case is so sad. A wonderful child from a very loving Family has been taken from them in the most dispicable of circumstances and then the Family have to encounter the above which just prolongs and accentuates their agony. What does it say about our Society that we have produced people who are capable of committing such atrocities and yet don't even care...

  17. This is the view today from another Forum on Capital Punishment: Yesterday, 09:30 PM Originally Posted by XXXXXX Last week, the Saudi Arabians beheaded a guy who had abducted a young boy and sodomized him, then killed the boy's father when the man came to rescue his child. Applause for the Saudi folks. and the response from a Moderator.... For real, not that I care anything about Saudi Arabia, but I like the way some of these other countries deal with these wastes of oxygen. Some people (if you can even call them that) should simply be disposed of. End of story. Subtle difference from the view expressed by some on EDFB)
  18. Interesting Thread.
  19. The EDF Massif appear supremely indifferent to your cause or any perceived disruption you might be bringing Tamils...
  20. Another advantage of The Tamils staying and legitimately protesting is that Tourists from all over the World visiting our great Capital City will be able to see what a civilised and tolerant Nation we are for allowing this to happen, right on the steps of the building that is the epitome of British Freedom, for this length of time, with no immediate end in sight.

  24. Shoot!! I've just had a thought! I'm coming back to London on a Riverboat Trip to The Embankment today. These Guys are not going to affect my day around Central London, are they??:X:X Inconsiderate, selfish xxxxx's GET THEM OUT FOR TODAY!!:X:X
  25. I agree with every sensible word that MM has said. I agree with every single word that KK has so eloquently and accurately written. However, certainly when it comes to the last post this is NOT a million miles different to the "unanimous" viw of almost everyone I knew when I was growing up in a very Working-Class Area of South London, only 3 miles from Trafalgar Square/Westminster etc who would say to a Man or Woman.. "They come over here, bring all their Families, take our jobs or live off the State ("they" at this point can not win, of course) then they want to use OUR streets to protest about something taking place thousands of miles away and disrupt OUR lives and use OUR Police ( which "we" pay for) and stop "us" going about our normal business.. If they want to protest let them go "home" and do that"....etc.... Now the chatterring classes were miles away from the "action" and their lives were not disrupted one jot, as above, so they stayed silent or even approved, from afar. Now, as we live in enlightened times and as I'm now well away from the "action" and "my" life is not affected in any way, I reckon they should have a seperate area outside The Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey, if necessary, for a whole range of perfectly legitimate protests, one area for Zimbabwe, one area for Iraq, one for Kosova, one for Georgia etc... These people pay their taxes to this Country, of that I'm certain, so why shouldn't they protest to the nth degree in their London Streets, for as long as it takes? I, for one, applaud their resiliance, tenacity and devotion to their cause! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
