  2. All I'm saying Sean is that I have come to realise that manipulation of language is the most powerful means of controlling the minds of individuals. We should maintain through the use of many control measures, including the falsification of the past, streams of constant propaganda. However, I am an advocate that the most powerful and central method of control is not just the ongoing manipulation of language itst also the thought process of doublethink. Although the other systems mentioned are effective in identifying, converting and eliminating heretics, doublethink brings on an era where they will no longer be necessary, at least not to such an extent, as heretics cannot exist in a world where unorthodox thought and speech is not possible. By the purging the English language of unorthodox words and double meaning and controlling the minds of their people through doublethink, the EDF and others will be able to create a world in the near future in which it will be literally impossible to express or even imagine an unorthodox thought. BBW was a heretic in my view, an unorthodox heretic at that. Now I'm 55 I have, FINALLY, come to the realisation that the "System" is everything and I pledge my future to the "System". My days of rebellion are over, I have reached contentment and ultimate fulfillment by obeying the System.

Don't think we need a maverick/loose cannon like that on The Good Ship EDF! No of course not eh tone just everyone who thinks, speaks and dare I say it LOOKS the same aint that right! ::o How boring that would be! KK: Its time you accepted the harsh reality of these dictatorial times with good grace. Look at the benefits of having your every move covered by millions of CCTV Cameras, your every word scanned and approved by the relevant Authorities. There are now zillions of people out there studying your every gesture, every text, every E-Mail and they have YOUR interests at heart. Its not as if its a self-perpetuating Industry, is it. These people believe zealously in what they are seeing, saying and doing and I,for one, applaud them. There is no room in Society and most certainly NOT on the EDF for the likes of BBW who can downright cheeky and funny at times, no place at all. The system MUST always come first for now and in the future and anyone who does not succumb willingly, you should be forced to. The Orwellian vision is right here, right now. Accept and Cherish it. God Bless The Authorities. p.s You ARE right on the looks though, as I was saying this morning to my friend who visited me, who originally came from Freetown, Sierra Leone. Indeed I shall re-iterate the necessity for us all to look similar to my Jamaican Ladyfriend later when she deigns to wake up and re-join the World.

"Farcically" 55 Mick....apart from the odd bout of weariness I don't feel any different to being 30 ( I rarely drink and have never smoked anything) and certainly I act the same age as most of my Ladyfriends who are nearly all, exactly, 30 lol...though having to watch "Chipmunk" and "Rhianna" and "Ciara" can lose its novelty, especially as I'm a Floyd/Zeppelin/Wishbone Ash Man...B)

I used to get freebies into BBC Shows 20 years ago and once, when backstage, I got lost and bumped into..Esther who looked a fetching shade of Yellow in her face...so after that anything is an improvement and my Ladyfriend feels that she has had a facelift...:)

  9. Esther Rantzen looks good for 68..and at least 10 years younger than she did, er, 10 years ago...::o
  10. Seemed like an individual who would not sit on the fence, had individual thoughts and said individual things. Don't think we need a maverick/loose cannon like that on The Good Ship EDF! If he agrees to be neutered, totally non-controversial and steers a safe middle ground on all topics then its possible the system might allow him back.... We need to all toe the one-party line here...he's not bland enough for my liking.....

  20. Thanks JSW. You are right, it did say that they murdered their "own" as well. Like everyone, I knew about the atrocities but I really did not know that the "Big Boys" also went free, at the time.

It ripped the community apart. Just saw your reference to East Street on another thread M8. You are ONE MILLION PER CENT right by the way.... p.s There was something so magical about that area that, almost everybody, that you bump into has very fond memories. How is this for a contrast? I was going back today, if the weather was fine, for my monthly sentimental journey ( 26 years after moving out):)) but as its windy I will drive 25 minutes the other way to High Elms Country Park and Golf Course, Nr Farnborough, with its rolling hills, woods and fields and my 4 West Highland Terriers will love it. ( I only discovered this fabulous place yesterday . Bit different to The Lane, though:)
  22. Atila Reincarnate Wrote: I thought only Millwall fans were "proper" people, at least that's what they used to tell me when I moved to East Street Market in the middle 60's. Atila, in my eyes, at least, you have become the most proper of all peoples.(tu) East Street Market!!! p.s. To avoid boring others, I'll pm you after this revelation...:)-D

This started the mass exodus to The Kent Suburbs Ted. The thought and prospect of living in Tower Blocks, surrounded on all sides, by other Tower Blocks was, understandably, unappealing to many. Of course, you are correct in saying that there was certainly, interior improvements, like Indoor Loos, for example, and many gave it a go. To be absolutely fair to the designers and architects there was very little street robbery in those days ( I truly don't remember any incident at all) and so they were not to know that things were going to drastically change, for the worse, in that respect and, of course, it became a Muggers Paradise..........got to the stage where My Aunt was on the 12th Floor and hardly ever went out for fear of using the lifts. She was physically capable for those Tower Blocks became "prisons" for many living above, say, the 3rd Floor. The Women, in particular, did their business, and they were, effectively, housebound for the rest of the dasy, especially, as the lifts often did not work or were full of urine...I often walked up and down the 12 Floors rather than "take a chance".. Of course, with the subsequent explosion of crime this accelerated the flight of many of the remaining characters there, to safer pastures..

One for her Husband ( they never did get on) and most importantly, by some considerable distance, one for me when I became older so that I would not be saddled with the ruddy mortgage I've had for 26 years now..B)... The back of our Garden backed onto the back of my Aunts and everybody knew and helped and looked out for each other in those tight Terraced Houses Twas a great community spirit but the planners soon put an end to that nonsense and most Walworthians moved out to Welling, Sidcup and Bexley. p.s. When I said "everybody" used to help etc that did not apply to Bobby Holland who used to go round murdering people but apart from one or two bad eggs....
