  1. Gout=Excess uric acid which needs an outlet and finds it in yourweakest joint which is usually the big toe. Its the only thing I've ever had in my life worth mentioning and it only came in the Summer. Finally realised that it was not "drink" in my case (as I rarely do) but too many Coca-Colas and Soft drinks in the Summer when naturally the desire is greater. Naproxen Tablets make it go within the hour usually.

Joke was that not only was I doing the job well enough for the 6 months I was Temping that I was given the job after the interviews. Then 2/3 days later came the bombshell and such was the unsubtlety of it all that the "excuse" was I "went to the loo and missed the interview" which was nonsense but their hands were tied and the outcome and intention was clear so "C'est La Vie". To add insult to injury I then had to leave The Council as my "Temp" job had now disappearred.::o I next re-appearred working for Social Services in Heaton Road, Peckham for Southwark Council, which was an eye-opener in "discrimination" on a level I had never personally experienced. Lets just say I had 2 things blatantly going against me there!:)).. Prior to this I had never really witnessed discrimination in 24 years of working in various Establishments but Southwark Social Services were "amazing"..truly amazing:X

  6. I have heard many times that White People can be "prejudiced" against but not be the victim of "Racism" but when the Temporary job I was doing at Lewisham Council became available permanently and I got it, after an interview, only to be told 1 week later that "Black people were underrepresented in our Department" and that a new set of Interviews would have to take place and when I went to the loo b4 the next interview I was told I was too late for the interview and the belated Black candidate got the job forcing me to vacate the temporary position and leave the Council altogether as my job had effectively gone, well. ...........I DID have my doubts..:))

I agree, by the way....(tu)
  10. In fact I agree with almost everybody on almost every thread in every one of EDF's fine fora:)-D

  24. Give them this reply which I have just come across on another Forum.. "lets have a chat.. I deem it necessary to express my anxiety which has been pestering me since you have just said about my English. I never attempted to exaggerate or fabricate any thing to distort the reality. Factually and legally speaking, It is quite obvious that Your comportment is absolutely autocratic, oppressive and wantonly undemocratic. Doesn?t it clinch my point that you are psychologically demented and to obviate the tedium of loneliness looks like you are always prone to fantasizing ill ? conceived wrong doing on my English; it is a figment of your loner imagination. In and beneath your exterior, you are seething with hatred. its true my english is not great but as i am not english still i can speak and communicate in English and others can understand very easily and as my skills I can do my job very well that's all its matters. I bet you your English is may be good but you cannot use more then 200 words from your own English language. and I wish you are not a manager or CEO where u just look at the English rather then skills, education, experience and think someones speaking in english and thats not his or her first language and still he is a quick learner and everything.. you just being a fruit cake here.... world not only revolves in ENGLISH Language anyway... Usually when some thing doesn?t suit a person in a particular situation, he tries to cost lurid light even on facts, so i can understand your pain and ONE MORE thing... if you dont understand my english now get your self a dictionary ." Get that right up the tuckers My Son!B)B)
