  1. > Let's have another trendy knick-knack shop selling over priced tat to the smug of ED In a recession another trendy knick-knack shop selling under priced tat to the now not so smug of ED might do better.
  2. Perhaps Bellenden Village aspires to an additional bookmaker to complement Coomes.

  4. First 2008 evidence of East Dulwich global warming.
  5. SimonM - Section 184 is largely about getting permission to build a dropped kerb, and only in a limited sense about driving a vehicle across a footpath. Carrie / blinder999 - this may be it. Do you know where we can see the text?
  6. Thanks, SimonM, but Section 184 does not make this illegal except in the limited circumstances of Section 184 (17).

  15. This unit in Zenroria Street opposite the East Dulwich Warehouse is being gutted. Time was this was under separate ownership to the shop premises at 6 Lordship Lane. Does anyone know what's happening?
  16. There may be some fatigue here. Not to suggest this is a modus operandi. The Public Inquiry is at 10:00 on 2008-01-29 at Avonmouth House, 6 Avonmouth Street, SE1 6NX The Southwark Council contact is Dennis Sangweme 0207-525 5419 [email protected]
  17. > Also there were good public conveniences in Lordship Lane, I think somewhere near the police station. These still have a rating assessment (if anyone cares to check the Valuation List)!
  18. We make every effort to ensure no more than four minis are parked in any one road but sometimes this simply is not possible.
  19. Cookwank is for wankcooks. Quite simple really.
  20. Public assets are now handed over to a private organisation with only a vague promise of some money in the future? This is not good.
  21. A little local difficulty. Does THe Foundation actually have the cash to go ahead?
  22. Not East Dulwich, but, Brockwell Lido has its "Icicle Swim" on Saturday 22 December.
  23. No according to this. Only two consultees - both internal to Southwark Council.
