    I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope he'll be ok. It must have been truly frightening. Of course, people are likely to be scared but that's no excuse for not helping a kid.

    we were looking at a flat near the harbour around Portsmouth and that was the same - basically made of wood. Was put off by the lack of durability (as well as the excessive price for a wooden structure)

    I've just organised the office Summer Step Challenge - so now I'll be organising walks and motivating people, which I'll enjoy.     It says about three weeks - is this realistic? It's twice the price to have a fast track and I have six weeks before I go...

    I think two males might fight but you could check that out online. We had a family of GPS and they were ok, but maybe because they grew up together - it might depend how old yours are. Rabbits make great friends for GPs too.

    There's lots online. Just google - how to look after guinea pigs. They like living with each other - they're very friendly - don't keep them outside in winter and when they are outside, they like a run so they can play on the grass but need to be safe from predators who can dig under the edges of the run. they like fresh hay and straw and a water bottle. Lots of dandelions and other green things, and carrots especially.

    ditto! The point is, no one seems to have been involved at the selection stage. I would easily be able to circulate this and get a variety of styles and a broader choice. It seems to have been signed sealed and delivered in a pretty uncollaborative way.

    There is nothing wrong with people asking questions and to be called vindictive for doing so is just a bit bullish.

    that is actually a wonderful idea and would celebrate her legacy perfectly.. I was a bit put off having lettering or pop art and was hoping for something meaningful.....

    yes - fair enough. sorry to react, it just really bugs me because they are our children and so easily turned into numbers.

    Eugh. just the thought makes me feel nauseous. I don't like slugs at all at the best of times.

    It's a moot point as whether there in an improvement or not, it's no comfort to the families of the victims. The fact is that it is still happening is THE point. And why are you comparing London to New York? It's not a bloody competition.
