  5. sheilarose said; "Only six ducklings left today. And, in addition to the usual plump, well-fed looking heron, there is now a smaller, skinnier one. Seems that word is getting round in the heron community that there are rich pickings in PRP pond" And then there were five. Walking past the pond today I saw a heron 'take' one of the ducklings. Had to try to explain it to my two little boys. Playing hide and seek?

  13. Was at the Crystal Palace Road party from 2 onwards and it was a perfect way to spend the afternoon - eating lovely food, enjoying great live music (who was that amazing singer in the last set?) and enjoying good company. Bumped into old friends, spent time with forum friends and made new friends. Not bad for a sunny Sunday. A very big thank you to the organisers and to everyone who brought food to share.
  14. Lovely afternoon and great to meet everyone. Sorry for eating lots of your food KT and LM and drinking your wine. In my defence I would say that me and the little one had got there on time and had eated our picnic by the time you late starters arrived. Nuff said. And dear LM you make me sign an official gagging order not to tell about that incident and then you blab it out on here the very next day. What are you like! Still, your secret is safe with me. Sorry never got the chance to chat OD, catch up next time perhaps?
  15. Sean said "*bob* not bob?" Imagine that forum drinks with the swapped name tags - but this time in a park with cider and wine and Daisy, Woof, LM and imaginary guests. Get the picture?
