As a mother myself , its not the presence of children I object to; rather the fact they are allowed to run unsupervised , making as much noise as they like! It is inconsiderate towards others and rather bad mannered, I always took stuff to amuse and distract mine so they did not disturb others. All common courtesy really! If you popped into the Plough on a Friday afternoon, that's when they run their increasingly popular mum and baby group. Dont think it's that bad at other times.
